I contacted the company via their website, who responded quickly and suggested I put "soap" on the battery case, and blamed Tesla for their battery box size. Yes, Tesla should use a standard 12v battery configuration so we don't have to buy one from them every year or two, but the issue for aftermarket producers is to make a product that fits. Regardless, no amount of soap would have made this oversized case fit. The case would have had to be sanded down or banged in with a mallet. Of course I was not willing to do either operation because I would have probably nullified the ability to return the battery.
A second issue: I did connect the battery to the car's terminals, but the car would not power on. I checked the battery voltage and got 100mV. So in addition to not fitting, it was sent to me DOA. If I had shorted it somehow, I'd expect voltage to be Zero, from a blown internal fuse perhaps (if not a resettable one) - not 0.1V
After contacting them they did offer to come to my house and install it, as I live the next town over. That was nice but I need this car for commuting and the battery was so oversized they would not have gotten it to fit either. So I only saw a further waste of time dealing with this thing and I returned it.

The Fireman Disconnect cable needs to be unplugged along with battery disconnect to reset computer to accept a new 12 vdc battery.
I did read the review here first to get an idea for how good the battery is or is not. I have not read a complaint about the battery failing or having performance issues, but size and design choices.
I can also offically say, size is an issue.
The problem is that you have to have the battery sitting in the cradle fully to be able to secure it properly to the car. The original battery fit fine, no issue. The replacement does not, it is too wide across the top ridge. This prevents the battery from sitting the whole way down in the cradle preventing you from securing the battery. Now, yes, you can use a rubber mallet and bang the battery down into the cradle to eventually get it to "fit" but i was concerned about damaging the battery for obvious reasons.
But eventually, after doing that, i was able to secure the battery.
The other issue is the leads.
I can assume this battery was NOT made specifically for the Model X but is a generic one for all model Teslas and you just have to deal with it (something they do not tell you). Because in the Model X, the terminals are flipped on this battery from where you would expect them to be. Luckily, you have enough slack in the cables to make it work but still. They advertise the battery as being a direct replacement but it is not.
The overall issue i have with the product is the manufacture deception about the product. It is not made for the Models they are advertised for, they just know you CAN make it work. But they argue that it is. I can say that someone did not take actual measurements or performed test swaps themselves before selling this.
Now, for me, the product itself does function as expected. My 12v error went away and i haven't had a problems since. But time will tell.
I purchased this to hopefully end the 12v battery nightmare that i can see having more of with this car since now working from home will cause more wear and tear on the 12v battery. (Do some reading on this topic, it is interesting.)
Overall, yes, this product will work but will take some elbow grease to get it installed.
No though, dont know what the life truly is like on the product to say that i would this is a amazing replacement because there is no metrics to base that off of yet at this time. Let me get back to you in another 3 years.
