The 13-Storey Treehouse (The Treehouse Series Book 1) Kindle Edition
The 13-Storey Treehouse is the first book in Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton's wacky treehouse adventures, where the laugh-out-loud story is told through a combination of text and fantastic cartoon-style illustrations.
Andy and Terry live in the WORLD'S BEST treehouse! It's got a giant catapult, a secret underground laboratory, a tank of man-eating sharks and a marshmallow machine that follows you around and shoots marshmallows into your mouth whenever you're hungry! Just watch out for the flying cats, or the mermaids, or the sea monsters pretending to be mermaids, or the giant mutant mermaid sea monster . . . Oh, and, whatever you do, don't get trapped in a burp-gas-filled bubble . . . !
Well, what are you waiting for? Come on up!

There are a lot of detailed, comical drawings and not much text, but in true Andy Griffiths style and with Terry Denton's illustrations the story comes alive and will have your kids hooked from the beginning-they won't be able to stop reading it! I have read this to a Year 2 class and they loved it! It was hard to read out loud because I found myself joining the kids rioting with laughter!!! Highly recommended!! Can't wait for the next instalment!

These books are brilliant for reluctant readers as they tell stories that keeps a child interested like a marshmallow machine that shoots a marshmallow into your mouth or the ‘catnary’.
