My Dad found this brush at Walmart, but when I went to get one (in early Feb. in the Northeast-unbelievable!), both of the local stores were sold out & were not going to be ordering any more. I found it on Amazon, & had two in just a few days- just in time for the fifth storm of the season!

It seems a little much for a snow brush, but it is worth every penny. If they had put a brass scraper blade on it instead of just plastic & made a little stopper right after the pin that holds the handle together when you extend it,(because as it is right now, the handle can come apart completely), I would pay three times as much.

I am only 5' tall with short arms & bad shoulders, so I have a very difficult time cleaning off the roof of our Subarus as they both have roof racks that make it hard to get all of the snow out from the middle of the roof. We try to get as much snow & ice off our cars so we aren't throwing snow back at our fellow travelers. Also, we are more visible if it's still storming. It's all in the curve of the handle. Can't believe we haven't seen these before this- so simple a cave man could've done it! Duh....! The brush head swivels as well, which gives you even more versatility.
My husband is 6' tall, my elderly Dad is aprox 5'8" tall, & they both love it as well.

I recommend you purchase one & see how great this product is the next time you have to clean that snow off your vehicles! I'm going to take it to my physical therapist next week, she's very interested to see if this can help her other patients as well.

Somebody sure had His(her) thinking cap on! :-)

After owning a number of cheapie scrapers.....some better than others, I wanted to get a "real" one. Scraping ice is pain to begin with and many times it seemed to take forever. I checked reviews and this one got the most positive so I decided to give it a try. It is worth every penny and more and works so much faster due the length, and the bowed handle really helps you get better leverage. The teeth on the back side are ideal for scoring the ice first. If you are tired of the cheaper ones you find just about everywhere get this one. I can highly recommend it.

Bought one of these for my truck it works fantastic on the roof and windshield! I haven't had any issues except the storm that dumped 16" of snow but when you've got 16" of snow on a vehicle it's going to be a bitch to clean... Considering I suffered a stroke early last year I was worried about cleaning the truck and car off in the winter, but haven't had any issues.

I bought this on the recommendation from The Sweet Home and it's the best brush I've ever used. My only complaint is that the rubber grip on the scraper end rotates so that if you're brushing from side to side, you have to fight against it slipping due to resistance. That's not enough of an issue to dock it a star, but it's worth mentioning.

This is the best scraper you will ever find and this may be one of my best purchases in 2015. This scraper tears thru ice quicker than any scraper that I've used in the past.

I came across this scraper on The Sweet Home/Wirecutter's review where they called this the "The Best Ice Scraper" (as of January 2015). They reviewed many different scrapers and wrote up a near 7000 word review with charts and graphs, showing off the time of each scraper tested.

The latching is very positive and easy to do with gloved hands... for both the wand and broom head.
It's well made.

Again, depends on the person and the height of the vehicle..
For me, the bow works on our jeeps and my truck and the cap on the bed of my truck (which is a 4x4, so a bit tall).
For my wife, she doesn't like the bow, she can't reach as far on Jeeps roofs and forget about my truck.
Because of the bow , she also feels she can't get enough force to brush off the snow on the roof of the jeeps.
So after trying it, she stopped using it.

But on the hoods of the jeeps or my truck she's fine, or if it was the roof of a car, she'd be fine.
I can see the advantage of the bow, more so on the likes of the front windshield or the hoods of our vehicles.

For me, it was not a waste of money,
But in general my wife doesn't like it.

I'm writing the review, so based on usability, basic features and quality, I'll rate it like any other car snow brush/broom.

For me sure it works, but it doesn't obsolete all other car snow brushes.
You'd have to try it and see for yourself, based on your vehicles.

This is very well designed product it's just low enuff to get below the roof racks on my Grand Cherokee. It extends in length and you can not only use it like a broom to push off the snow but even better like a hoe and pull the snow off the roof. I swear this ain't a commercial, but I love the damn thing so much I'm actually glad to see it snow.....

I've had this for a few months now. I waited to write the review because I wanted to see how it works in varied conditions. It works great for frost and snow removal. It easily extends to reach those hard to get places. It is not so good for removing ice. After a freezing rain storm I tried removing a layer of ice from my windshield. This scraper barely touched it and I got the feeling it would break if I used too much force. I waited for the defroster to do it's thing and then was able to remove the ice after breaking it up with my fist. For most conditions this works excellent.
