What we hear is how "popular" the King James was, yet what we DON'T hear is that it was only because it was the only "authorized" english version and because the GENEVA was ordered to be stopped and was banned!
We don't hear how well received and beloved THIS GENEVA BIBLE WAS!!! And now IS! What a true blessing! Praise God! God bless!!!
Binding not good. Last section of pages was loose from rest on bottom half.
Still HIGHLY recommend!
Update: much prefer the 1560 facsimile, because of the notations (but the notes are a bit difficult to read...can find electronic version)
Combined with extremely small print, this edition was very disappointing.
It also contains:
The Magna Carta
The Mayflower Compact
The Declaration of Independence
The Articles of Confederation
The Amendments to the Constitution
Washington's Rules of Civility & Decent Behavior (facinating btw)
Add the fact that Scriptures are, word for word, the very same ones the Pilgrims brought to America 400 yrs ago and you can really appreciate this piece of American Treasure.
