The Xtreme White Plus Series of high output replacement bulbs give drivers better color recognition, depth perception, and improved contrast over stock halogen bulbs, all while meeting DOT specification. Xtreme White Plus bulbs feature a crisp white light output that allows for better road illumination, while a blue top coat adds style to your vehicle with the Xtreme White’s 4000K color temperature.

I said 95% happy for a reason. IF they last 1.5 years, 100% happy. Never owned PIAA, anything over 1.5 years, and i'll be happy!
I own Toyota Corolla 2010. I tried to do something with it's dim low-beam headlights, and purchased Philips HIR2 bulbs, but they are may be 10% brighter. Now I tried more expensive PIAAs, which claim to emit light equal to 115W bulb, with common 55W. Well, definitely does not work with Toyota Corolla 2010. They are as bright as Philips and a bit brighter than my stock Silvania bulbs.
I was hoping to get better performance.
Check out the comparison, done with the same camera and same car. LOW-BEAM ONLY!
What I do not like is that I bought these about 14 to 15 months ago and one of them burnt out already on the car. Talk about a disappointment. All I hear about these are supposed to be bright with good color and have a long life. Well these do not have a long life to them. I will not be buying this again for a replacement bulb. For all you Honda Civic owners out there you know how much of a pain it is to replace the headlights on these cars. I am not willing to take the front of my car off or go through the tire well to change out the headlights yearly. Let alone buying these headlights yearly either .. good for them .. not so much for me.
Also I see that the replacement is 1 year, thats super convenient huh.
The low beam is considerably better than stock, and the white is an excellent color. However, the high beam seems scattered and doesn't really make things visible, despite being bright. Street signs and reflectors light up almost too brightly really far away, but at the same time the trees and ditches aren't. Hard to explain - but reminds me of LED lights that are "bright" but don't actually illuminate anything.
For the same price as the Sylvania I'll probably get another set. 20 months is better than 12, but I sure wish these things would last longer.

Well these do not have a long life to them.
When compare with stock OEM bulbs, this one is better.
