About the Author
This is my eighth published book. Several of my previous books are poetry for children through adult ages with illustrations. I do have another edited/transcribed diary published of my great aunt's diaries from 1914 to 1917, which has over fifty photographs. I try to present material to my readers which will make them think and become better individuals. A lot of my poems do have a moral lesson behind them; others are for pure reading pleasure. My edited diaries are presented in a manner which gives the reader a sense of history unfolding before their eyes. I am a strong believer in history and believe that knowing the past does help develop the future. They also make the reader a more informed, understanding individual. I do have a BS degree in English, a MA in sculpture, and a MFA in ceramics. Education has been a very strong factor in my life and it is represented in what I write and edit.
