The Schrade 180T Mighty Mite is a 2 3/4" closed, single lock-blade version of a classic small penknife design that usually incorporates 2 slip-joint (non-lockblade) blades. (The Schrade 104OT Minuteman appears to be that 2-blade slip-joint sister knife. The 120T Pal appears to be a single-blade slip-joint equivalent.) The liner-lock locking mechanism takes up the space that would have been allocated to the smaller pen blade. That lockblade feature makes this knife unique. I haven't seen any other brand marketing a thin penknife lockblade of this design / style (though other small lockblades are certainly available).
Schrade Old Timer is a line of inexpensive classic design pocket knives of middle (decent enough) quality. I paid $10.29 for this one including prime shipping. So, I'm not going to complain that it's not machined as finely as a $30 - $60 knife or that it's made in China. If you pay three times this price, you will get a nicer knife. However, for the price it's quite good. It's solid and reasonably well machined using decent enough materials. The "Delrin" handle is a durable plastic similar to the type cutting boards are made of, colored brown / tan with an etched surface. The center rivet is not ground flush with the handle (on purpose and not uncommon), which I find mildly annoying. Over time the "nickle" bolsters have tarnished very badly indicating that they are a cheap alloy. This is my main beef since it uglies the knife. However, everything lines up as it's supposed to. The blade opens, closes, and locks properly.Read more ›
Update..... I have been carrying this knife in my pocket for a few months now. Really happy with it. It has came in handy several times and made it through the washing machine. I put a drop of Tri-Flow oil on the pivot point where the blade mounts and it works smooth as can be.
*This is a very nice pocket knife.
*It is small and has a nice way of locking.
*The knife locks solid and has no wiggle in any direction.
*It takes an edge very easily.
This is a knife that is more for letter opening, box opening, etc.
There are some bad reviews but don't listen to them. People like to cry because they use the product wrong or get a lemon.

Great little knife. Got it for my son to whittle around with and find myself asking him to use it for things around the house. It is small but that's good for him.Published 9 days ago by Robsrad
This is a real nice small pocket knife. I've used it a lot. Holds its edge. It says it's a locking blade but it will still collapse on you if you aren't careful. So ... Read morePublished 1 month ago by Rover Rover
