This book could be so much better. Not a terrible read, but I just had to stop about 3/4 of the way through because I just couldn't stand it any longer. That being said, there are some reasons to buy and read.
Pros:
-Author writes about each country with a voice of experience.
-He focuses on people, rather than places. I like this because you can read about places online, and personal interactions can be more interesting at times.
-As the title implies, you will truly get some (limited) information about every country you can imagine.
Cons:
-The author is not as culturally open as you would want. My biggest issues are the complaints about "fat and stupid Americans." I think we all dislike a stereotype, but shouldn't someone who travels worldwide know that a stereotype is just that? Besides, if you're trying to sell to the US, shouldn't you re-phrase things? If I were selling to Norway, I would be careful not to complain about Norwegians.
-Gunnar is a single guy looking for a party. The familiar story of women wanting him and the parting gets pretty old. How can you know about a country when all you do is visit seedy bars?
-He really takes advantage of his blond-haired, blue-eyed, foreigner status to meet girls. Yes, I've been to a ton of emerging markets, though only about 50 countries. And SURPRISE - people in poor countries will do quite a bit to marry a relatively rich foreigner. Is it ethical to take advantage of this or use it to stroke your ego? Not in my book.
I agree with the other reviewers who said that the translation is poor.. so is the editing and the layout. However, this isn't a top quality book and I didn't expect it to be much more than a blog, so I'm ok with these issues. However, I don't recommend unless you want to hear the same "good-looking guy goes to a foreign bar" story re-hashed in 198 different ways.

Gunnar is very negative on how he describes other travelers. In how he writes about others experiences not being authentic enough I feel like he pushes his readers away and makes the book not fun to read.

What an amazing topic and yet I could not finish reading this book. One might think that the author has collected insights from places we have never even heard of. Instead, his stories are a never-ending self-portrayal, most of them are pointless. I was particularly irritated by the way the author objectifies women, makes them his souvenirs and indulges in page-long descriptions of strip clubs and moody girlfriends. The author does not seem particularly interested in culture, it is obviously possible to travel every country in the world and learn absolutely nothing. Garfors is not a skilled writer either, which makes it even more difficult to continue reading.
I love travel stories and was really looking forward to this book. Bummer!

Interesting but don't feel it was well written. Unnecessary emphasis on his female conquests in each country.

Some well written, funny chapters but some parts I feel the author must have run out of energy to write anything worth mentioning. Also the translation into English had some really strange tranlations from Norwegian I guess. Because they did not make any sense for a native English speaker.

The book is good but i've found some kind of discrimination or prejudgment about other countrie's culture or costums by the author.
He is not a great writter but he describes well some experiences he had in all the countries he visited.
It's ok but it isn't the best travel book i've read

I bought this for my sons best college friend as he is a world traveler.
The pages that I looked at after paying and receiving the book were inappropriate .....discussions of sex addiction, and sex acts etc in the one country I decided to glance at, so, of course, the book was inappropriate to give as a gift and I wasted my money.

Not what I expected....

I was so excited to read this but unfortunately was very disappointed. I like the structure of how the book was written and some chapters are really good and tell you about the actual country Gunnar has visited.
However, other sections are utter drivel about how Gunnar has sat in a bar or picked up a women. Canada and Croatia section barely/doesn’t even mention anything about said country! Just how he picked up a random women, I don’t care about that, that is not why I purchased this book I want to read about the country! Could of been so much better.

I got this book after reading several news articles about "the man who went to every country in the world" and its a good read. Very random order which he did on purpose which you may or may not like, he details several very eye-opening experiences which inspire you to take the same road.
