Performance probably varies from home to home and where you can position this antenna. My TV is hooked up near the side of the house that faces away from the center of town where most of the transmitting towers are located. I get about 21 channels, but only about 7 that are really useful for TV shows. The other channels are either in another language or are 24-hour religious networks. Of the 7 that are useful for shows, sometimes some work when others don't, and vice-versa. Sometimes, which channels work is dependent on where I am sitting. I have two of these, one downstairs and one in my bedroom directly above the one downstairs TV and I get different channels with each. But similar results: if I move about the room, some stations cancel out. I wish that there was a better alternative to "free" TV. I recently got a Roku, but have not bit the bullet yet on paying for any of the for sale programs like Hulu or Sling TV.

I was a little skeptical from those bad reviews but I got every single channel Id expect from an outdoor antenna previously used. I was able to get 40 channels after basically connecting it no special adjustment made. Would definitely RECOMMEND to anyone!

Perfect stand for *most* thin panel indoor Antennas. I own a ViewTV antenna which is identical to the 1byone & it fits perfectly. Here's the thing...if you own a Mohu or another brand that uses a thicker cable you might have some issues. It is weighted which is nice & it will point your antenna in a slight upward angle. Smart of 1byone to make a stand like this as there really isn't anyone else out there producing one.

Also the set up could be done by a 3-year old. Super easy. For here on out I'm sticking with 1byone products. I also purchased a antenna amplifier (for back-up) made by them with my order. If you own a thin panel antenna & need a stand, it's a "win-win" scenario.

We used the stand to hold the Amazon basic ultra thin antenna on a shelf behind the TV. Great combination it holds the antenna in place and looks great. The 1byone stand is an excellent design and works both functionally and aesthetically.

Although it is an expensive piece of plastic, it's very nicely made and finished. It also works great to place and orient the 1byone 50-mi Ultrathin HDTV antenna to get the best possible signal. Unfortunately, it will not hold an AmazonBasics Ultrathin HDTV antenna because the Amazon-branded antennas, although slightly better in reception for certain UHF channels, have a bulky connector at the bottom unlike the sleek 1byone antenna. Encased in the stand at the bottom on either side are a couple of weights that help a lot to make the stand steady and keep it from tipping over. The simple assembly of three pieces is required to put the antenna stand together and the nonverbal illustrations aren't clear as to which way round each of the upper two pieces goes. But the stand is so basic if you just think for a moment on how the antenna is going to rest in the stand, it's easy enough to figure out assembly without even looking at the instructions. If you have a 1byone Ultrathin, flat antenna, I highly recommend this stand and using the channel signal strength indicator on your TV, if your TV has such, to pick the best placement and orientation of the antenna for any particular channel. Both the 1byone and the 2017 version of the AmazonBasics HDTV antennas have significant directionality. Changing antenna orientation even 15 to 20 degrees can make a big difference. Unless you're very close to broadcast towers, hanging the antenna flat on a window or a wall may be counterproductive and something like this wonderful antenna stand may be a must for getting the best reception for some channels (we're 26-28 miles away from CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX towers, see antennaweb, TVFool, or FTC maps for direction and distance of towers from your address). At our distance even with an amplified HDTV antenna, correct antenna orientation is a MUST and this stand really helps with our 1byone antenna.

It works quite well except that at times it completely loses the signal. I get a blue screen that tells me to re-scan for channels. When that happens I tap on it and the signal comes back. I almost returned it but didn't want to wait for a replacement or get an Amazon credit voucher.
Overall it works well but I think a booster should be ordered with the antenna. That's what I intend to do soon. Maybe the intermittent signal loss will stop.
Update:
The booster came and gave me more channels to watch. Still having the intermittent signals but I think it's due to my location. I can't accurately aim my antenna for the best signal. My compliments to the company. They sent me a FREE booster to fix my problem. They really want to help their customers. They have a great customer service department!
This an amendment to my review.
I recently rearranged my furniture. This meant I had to re-scan for my tv channels. The upshot id with the antenna plus the booster the company generously provided for free, I now get 50% more channels than before. I have upgraded my review to five stars and heartily recommend this product. I can only say that it might because of the way the tv is situated but I like all the extra channels I now can see!

Edit: As the description and picture indicate, the amplifier is a separate piece so be sure to test your TV with and without using it. Use [...] to find digital television transmitters (DTVs) nearest to your location. Also, the stations the antenna picks up come in crystal clear too.

When I decided to cut cable I had to research indoor antennas in order to receive local channels. After reading many reviews on several different products I decided on 1byone and I'm glad I did. The antenna arrived promptly and was packaged well. It was easy to install - just connect the coax cable to the TV in the same spot your cable box would be connected to. During the channel scan of the TV using the amplifier, I only received a few channels so I took the amp off and I'm now receiving 22 OTA channels FREE! Bye-bye cable!!

One downside for me was that the antenna would not stick to my walls with the adhesive tabs provided or anything else I tried to use. It was falling down every day - once the antenna moves you have to re-scan your channels. I finally decided to use push pins with the double sided adhesive tabs (included) by extended the tabs out about 1/4 inch on all four sides and so far my make shift mount has been successful. I purchased the 50-mile antenna because of the location of the test TV (not exactly near a window). The antenna is close to a window so I assume if it was in the window as suggested by seller it would probably get more stations since I'm less than 50 miles from broadcast towers with minimal obstructions.

I'm looking to purchase two more for my other TVs that are near windows soon. I don't think you will go wrong with this antenna especially at this price point.

I had planned to use this stand for the 1byone antenna I ordered but ended up sticking the antenna to the window for the best reception.. I'm now using the stand to display a picture. It worked great as a stand for the antenna, though.

I only gave it four out of five stars for a good reason and I'll get to that reason in a minute.
First, I live out west along the Rocky Mountain range couple that with living in the suburbs with tall buildings a few miles away and a international airport you can see how a clean TV signal could be a challenge.
However the 1byone Amplified HDTV Antenna was up to the task with it's signal booster and worked as advertised so why only four stars you ask ?
If you want a stand it's optional which it shouldn't be for the price and available on Amazon for $8.99. way to much for a simple plastic item but the main reason is the dual backed sticky tabs for hanging the antenna on walls and windows that come with it.
While they stick good to a wall the trouble comes when you want to relocate the antenna, the adhesive tabs pull the paint off the wall leaving it looking terrible.
Your best bet if you purchase this antenna is to invest in 3M brand removable adhesive tabs that can be reused over and over without disfiguring your walls or windows.
1byone should look into this issue and the optional stand which should be standard.

This stand is inexpensive and does the job. Works just fine. If you don't have a stand, you are just making life harder for yourself, and this stand will makes positioning the antenna much easier and more effective. Just go for it.
