The door chime comes in a neat little box with the door chime, bell push ( transmitter ) a handy little stand, screws and wall plugs, sticky pads, a battery for the bell push and warranty and instructions.
Two AA batteries are needed for the wireless chime and are not supplied.
Setting up the chime is easy first the 3v battery ( provided )has to be inserted into the bell push, then the AA batteries into the wireless chime itself. They must then must be paired with each other, mine already were but it's easy to do by pressing the bell push then press the silver button on the back of the chime and that's it the chime will save the code in its memory.
The chime can register up to five codes from five push buttons and you would just pair them like the first one.
Some of the chimes are bit let's say irritating but are also fun and there is a chime to fit everyone's taste.
Overall this door chime is portable, wireless and has settings to please everyone.
So far this has not happened.
A portable wireless doorbell is really good.
When I am upstairs I take it with me. When I am in the garage I take it with me.
It works everywhere.
It is so so easy to set up.
It has numerous different chimes. It also has a led indicator to, which is useful when I have the hearphones in my ear when I am working.
No more missed calls now. Great.
I only gave this four stars because of the instructions. The chime has a plethora of ringtones (including Fur Elise and some Christmas carols) but there is nothing in the instructions that indicates how to select any one of them. You can press the treble clef button and sample them, but then what? The instructions provide photos of battery installation (in case you have never put a AA battery into anything before) and detailed instructions on installation using anchors and mounting screws. But the only thing on ringtones is identification of the treble clef button as "36 user selectable ringtones."
Also, be sure to read the warranty "card" as "unreasonable maintenance" will void the warranty. Priceless!
I have a teenage son who, when he isn't playing baseball (and sometimes when he is) is wearing headphones. Whether to play music, play games, or talk on the phone, he is using ear buds. His bedroom is upstairs and I rarely go up there. Whenever I needed to get his attention, I found myself yelling myself hoarse, so I bought this doorbell as an attention getter.
It works great. Not only is the chime loud enough to penetrate my son's oblivion, the thing lights up! I mounted the push button at the bottom of the stairs and just press the button and he magically pops his head out of his bedroom.
Big problem...easy solution. I'm a fan.
