This app, as it says, has 10,000+ different puzzles in eight different difficulty levels. Each difficulty has 1,250 different puzzles. The puzzles play smoothly, and load very quickly. Once you choose a puzzle, hit 2 buttons and it's loaded. As everyone knows, in Sudoku, the timer runs and keeps track of how fast you complete a puzzle, and this app has the ability to pause the timer if you have to put it down for a minute or so to do something else. Another handy feature is the ability to go back and remove your last move, or your last 2 moves, or ever how many you want. That comes in very handy in allowing you to quickly correct your mistakes without getting your board in a mess. This is just two of the many features the game has.

Settings are very detailed. You can choose portrait, landscape, or automatic, that way it doesn't change your orientation for your entire phone/tablet, just this app. Furthermore, in either of these modes you can choose to have the app fullscreen or not fullscreen, You can also choose how you want to input your entries, by clicking the letter first or the cell first, how much help you want in locating your mistakes and/or correcting them, and how you want your Sudoku to look (text size, font, table color).

All of the features work well and the graphics are sharp. The menus quickly allow you to resume a game, view games that you have completed, and choose new games. This game is a great for the free app of the day, and (I don't say this often) if you like Sudoku, it's worth the $2.49. With so many levels and so many features, this is the Sudoku app you need and the only one.

With the latest updates, the developer has made this the best Sudoku app for Android. The dev was great the way he responded to my emails. I sent a couple of observations & suggestions, not expecting any response. I mean, what's the opinion of one user worth? I was surprised when he wrote back the next day saying "thank you" and that he had implemented one of my ideas.

THAT'S what I call support! One day service with an email & an update.

The interface is practically perfect now and the ability to import multiple formats of sudoku files is great! A key feature, for me, is the ability to play without an Internet connection - the Sudoku app I played before has a great interface, but you need a connection to start a new game. Annoying when you want to play a new game in a dead zone. Being able to easily disable OpenFeint (yuck, spit :) ) is a definite plus.

Make sure you check out Sudoku Grab n Play from the same developer. It lets you take a picture of a Sudoku board & import it into Sudoku 10000 Plus to play.

If you like Sudoku then this is a must have game. The game is professionally designed and is great to play. The app does include adware but I have not seen any pop up ads so it appears that at the present time they are inactive. This is a repeat FATOD from last year.

This app has 15,000 puzzles and it offers the possibility to import, generate and edit puzzles. Game play is smooth and the design of the game is easy to use and play. I love the ability to select the playing level and use the pencil in of the numbers that you think are possible. The app also has a nice player interface with an undo and a redo button. The three hash marks in the lower RH corner take you to the menu. There is also a keyboard to enter numbers below the one used to enter and it is always set to pencil in the numbers that you would like to enter into the squares that you think are possible. If you enter in a conflicting number it and the number it conflicts with turns red. There is also a green check symbol that will tell you if the puzzle has any conflicting entries made by you.

This app contains adware AdMob and AdSense. I have played many games and I have not seen any ads pop up yet. Most adware collects personal data but this app does not use any of the Android permissions that allow it to gain access to your private data like trying to get your location, contacts, accounts and location. When you know that this is installed you should be OK as long as you do not go to any web site with ads as the data could be collected at that time.

It is not every day that I cannot think of one thing negative to say about an Android application. ;)

But I can honestly say that this is the perfect Sudoku game on Android! What's not to love? Features galore. Great interface. Tons of polish. A perfect range of difficulty options. No draconian/unnecessary/suspect permissions. I can go on and on. It's all here.

This is how it should be done on Android. This is a great FAOTD -- yet I would still pay for this game and would have paid had I come across it before.

Sudoku puzzles aren't for everyone of course but if you do enjoy this type of puzzle, I cannot imagine how it could get any better than this.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The real advantage this program has over others in the genre is that there are literally thousands of unique puzzles. When I would play other Sudoku games I would get the feeling as I was playing certain boards that I had seen them before, like the random number generator would keep building the same games over and over again, so that I would eventually get to the point that I would intuitively know what numbers to put in what boxes even though I shouldn't be able to.

I don't have that problem here -- every board is a unique challenge, and while I've only solved about 400 of them, I'm not about to slow down. I got this game as a FAOTD, but I would have purchased it if I had known how great it was versus its peers.
