Chalk Ink is the highest quality chalk marker on the planet. It works like a paint pen, yet looks like chalk. No dust, no smearing once dry. It comes off with water! They are non-toxic and food safe!

My only warning is that if you are handling something you have labeled with slightly damp hands, avoid touching as it will smear then. But that is to be expected with a water-and-off pen!
POINTER: You need to gently push the tip to a surface to fill the hard-felt tip with liquid chalk ink before first use. If you push too hard it will split the end and make writing more messy. If you do this (like I did on the first pen), pull the felt tip out and turn it around. The back allows thin lines and writes super well.
This is far better than using China Markers/ Grease Pencils to mark containers. This along with the chalk stickers is well worth the price to organize the pantry while still having clearly labeled containers.
I found this liquid chalk marker and it's worked beautifully for me. The tip comes to a point like a "fine-tip" Sharpie, so it's easy to write with. The chalk washes off with a wet sponge.
