First, I like the design, I like the ideas behind it. But I will say that this cage is not suitable for Brazilian short tailed opossums, not sure how, but they will get out.

Second, both bottle holders broke immediately when trying to set them up. Don’t use the cheap plastic stuff, just use the spring clip holders.

Third, it is impossible to put the clips in place that hold the bottom to the top portion without breaking them. It simply does not work. It should be an easy thing to use these clips to secure it and we’ll… I wasnt interested in breaking more stuff.

Third. These tunnels are great when they stay together, not so much when they just fall apart with the smallest amount of pressure. A better system or more secure clips would be much better. Other than that I do like it but there’s definitely some issues that need to be addressed.

Now I gotta go find that opossum….

The size is great and my hamster loves it. But the plastic clips are crap and break too easily. So I'll be replacing that with metal clips as soon as I get the chance. Having actual instructions instead of a full page picture of the finished product wouldn't hurt either.

very good cage easy to clean tray. problem was the clips provided weren't flexible enough and snapped. the company was right on it, and replaced them asap. great customer service! as for 'chew proof' i gave four stars.. my 10 week old baby rat pair has already chewed the inner corner tabs of the tray, and some of the edges of the litter pan. not terrible damage, but its chewed. i have given them wood chew toys in the hopes it will divert their attention away from the plastics. they are rats, and rats chew stuff. no plastic is 'chew proof'. very pleased with the quality water bottle, tubes and accessories. cannot use the tray because it is too large and the running wheel i have wouldn't fit. i would purchase this again, it looks fit for a dwarf bunny, guinea pig, rats, or tiny chicken or quails.

This cage is huge! I just got mine today and my 3 hamsters are loving it! Much better than the pictures! No instructions but if I can put it together believe me anyone can! Don't need no tools or nothing..if you want a beautiful large cage for your hamsters please think of this one cause you won't be disappointed! There is no way they can even get out cause the bars are very close together so no worries at all!

So I love the different aspects of this cage it is indeed chew proof and easy to assemble if the pieces don't break. And clean up is easy as well.
The tube I thought would've been great for my hamster. Turns out he absolutely what so ever in his mind doesn't use it. He likes the space but only thing he uses properly is the litter box. The cage clips broke first day I set up the cage. So did the water bottle holder. Oh and the water bottle it comes with leaks a lot. I'm just gonna have to be more creative I guess. Other than that I think it's a decent cage.
