Plenty of positive reviews on this item, and I concur. This is the second set of Nerf Bars I have purchased from Amazon for a total savings of close to $1000 over manufacture bars. As others have mentioned easy to install with minor tool or mechanical knowledge, look great, sturdy and slip resistant. Plenty of finished pics already uploaded so I included a generic pic of the C-Clips you will receive which is how the brackets mount to the truck with brief installation tips below...

Under the truck on the chassis side rail you will notice several black plastic caps covering holes. Working from front to back you will remove the first, second and fourth sets of 4 caps, leaving the third position capped as those holes are not used. You now have 4 open holes at each bracket position. The C-Clip slides onto one hole with the female receptacle now seated over the second. You will use 2 C-Clips at each station which provides the anchor point for the mounting bolts. This all becomes self explanatory once you get under the truck and visually inspect. Mount all 6 brackets loosely at first. Next, the kit includes plastic fascia pieces which will cover the visible portion of the brackets when viewing from beside truck; affix using the provided plastic plugs and screws. Then mount the nerf bars on the brackets, sliding and positioning as needed and leaving them loose until all are installed. 'TYGER' should be readable on the skid steps as you face the vehicle; if it's upside down you have the wrong bar. Once each bar is completely secured with loose bolts you will be able to slide it towards or away from the truck about an inch or so. Find your desired location and have somebody hold in place while you tighten all the bolts. Repeat on other side. Finally go back under truck and tighten bracket mount bolts. You are done in under an hour. Two people makes it easier, but can be done by yourself in a pinch. Use blue Loctite (not included) on all bolts as there will be significant vibration during the life of the brackets and bars.

Not a bad step bar, fairly solid. I got them to help little ones in/out of my truck. Work great for that, just not very user friendly for adults in my family. They are just awkward enough that when you try to step out without using them, you can't help but drag the back of your leg across the step, getting your pants dirty. They are just high enough that you can not comfortably use them getting out. Work well for kids. Easy to install. As for the number of 5 star reviews, just see the rebate form included with my steps. You get $10 back for a 5 star review. Again, not a horrible step by any means, but I have already replaced them with a set of N-Fab G1583CC-TX, and don't regret it one bit. Selling the Tygers.

I got this for my 2017 Chevy Colorado crew cab and can confirm it is a fit for this model year without issue. I am very satisfied so far with this product. It was easy to assemble and install and got it on inside of an hour doing it alone. So far is solid and looks very nice to boot. Installing and using this for the last few days have been great, and very satisfied with everything, especially the price! If you are looking for a DIY step bars, look no further. I have never undertaken such a task and found it to be very simple and rewarding, just follow directions. Very happy with my purchase.

I purchased these running boards not expecting much for the price.. I'm extremely impressed with the fit an finish of the product. My item came carefully packaged to ensure nothing was damaged during delivery. All parts were clearly labeled and present. The brackets are stamped so don't expect them to be super rigid. Once everything is bolted up and torqued down the risers feel pretty solid. Install took about 45 minutes for a single person. I can't see how you can get anything better at this price point. You really get a lot for your money!!

I can confirm (like a few other already) that these work perfect for 2017 Colorado. I recently made the upgrade from 1st Gen Colorado to 2nd Gen and had been researching for weeks what kind of side-steps to get. After many decisions, I decided to get the TYGER Riser.

One of the main reasons, why I chose these side-steps was because it match the same style as my rear bumper. I could've gone with a different design but wanted to make everything on my '17 Colorado flow.

In terms of the installation, it was pretty straight forward. I looked on Youtube to see similar install procedures and felt pretty confident in doing it solo. By no means, am I skilled technician nor mechanic. In fact the only tools I used were a flat-head screwdriver & a wrench. That being said, installation did take a lot longer, as oppose to having a special drill to tighten all the screws in faster.

The side-steps themselves feel sturdy and made to last. In terms of the black coating, only time will tell if they will last the elements of nature. Everything was packed well and secured. No dents nor scratches.

Overall, very happy with this decision/purchase. A great combination of Quality and Affordability, no doubt.

I was leery about the quality of this product since it is only $159, but since this is Amazon, I figured I could return them if they turned out to be junk. This is definitely a bargain! It is quality product, everything came very well protected to prevent scratches, and the installation was a breeze. It took me about an hour to install them and I was doing it by myself. I missed the step in the instructions that tells you to leave the brackets that hold the step bars slightly loose, so you can adjust them when installing the bars. I actually went to town on the brackets on both sides of the truck, and the bars lined up perfectly with the holes for screws on the brackets. That is a testament on how well designed these step bars are. I love the look. They mach the color and plastic texture of the rear bumper, so they flow with the rest of the truck better then the OEM step bars.

Received the Tyger Riser steps for my wife's 2016 Chevy Colorado Z71 today. I was impressed with the bubble wrap on the steps to protect them from damage in shipping ro start. The steps are well built with a nice satin black finish, and nice molded step plates. Install was straightforward with only having to remove the chassis plugs with a flat screwdriver, sliding the clips into the large hole and aligning the bolt hole of the clip over the small chassis hole to bolt the brackets onto the truck. Make sure to not slide the steps on the brackets when aligning the step holes so as to not scratch the finish. I would buy again!

Bought these as Christmas gift for my Husband's brand new 2016 Chevy Colorado and we are both very happy with the purchase. All parts are included and packaged well so nothing gets lost. It's great, the company even labeled all the packages making it easy to identify everything and match it up to the instructions. Instructions are super easy to follow, making the installation easy as well; took us less than an hour to install & no power tools were needed. The boards themselves look awesome on the truck, we love the mat black look and defiantly make the truck look a little more custom and unique. They exceeded our expectations on quality and are very impressed on what you get for the price. In my opinion these board are better looking than the factory boards and are totally worth the money saved.

Great product, great price. I bought these for two reasons. The first so that my dog can get into the back seat area easier and second to add some accent to the look of the truck. I looked extensively at other makes and brands and did not like the tube look or flat floor boards. I saw these and after checking the reviews on Amazon and other places decided to give them a try. They are moderately priced in comparison to many others and look like they will last a long time.

Installation: Installation took about 1.5 hours. The instructions could be better, but the pictures help. Fairly straight forward install if you have the tools and a little self initiative. My GMC Canyon is a commuter and occasional stuff hauler. It is not a heavy duty ranch or work truck so I did not need the heavy duty steps. These are just perfect for what I needed and add another level of sharpness to an already good looking truck.
