I purchased these for my 2016 GMC Canyon. This is the first set of NERF bars I have purchased/installed and it could not have been more simple. It took me less than 90 minutes to finish the job unassisted. I was not impressed with the boxing job when they arrived (as it appeared that several boxes had been cut and pieced together, then strapped down. But, upon opening the package, the bars inside were well protected and in flawless condition, so I will not ding TYGER for this.
The plastic covers were a bit difficult to work around with my socket (you will need a single 13mm socket,by the way) so, if possible, I would wait to put them in place until AFTER you have gotten the bars tightened down unless you have an extension, which I did not. Overall, though, the bars look great on my truck and, as stated before, were easy to install and feel very sturdy to me and at 240lbs., I'm not a small guy, so I will give them a 5. I would recommend these bars to anyone looking for a relatively inexpensive and nice looking accessory.

I went to the Chevy dealership to see how much they would charge to have similar side-steps installed on my 2017 Chevy Colorado. They quoted me about $800 (installed). So I bought these based on the reviews. I had some concern as I am NOT a handy person. Well, I could not be happier with my purchase. It was relatively easy to install...did it myself in less than 2 hours. They look great! They are very sturdy. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

If you can work a wrench you can work this onto your truck. It literally took 45min by myself to install. The instructions were easy to follow and understand. No holes were needed to drill it used factory holes. They look really nice and are feel solid built.

I didn't know what to expect when I ordered these running boards/steps. The price seemed too good to be true so I expected lower quality, well, what a surprise when I opened the huge box it came in and started to take out the parts. These rails are bulletproof, very well constructed and heavy duty. Installation was a snap once I figured out the right holes I had to put the clamps into. It took less than an hour with the help of my mechanic friend but I did most of the install. I also recently ordered one of TYGER's TONNO tops, WOW again, great quality, heavy duty fabric and frame and an easy install. I will definitely be looking at this Canadien company whenever I need "Stuff" for my 2016 GMC Canyon.

I wanted powder coated running boards for my 2015 White Colorado Z71. OEM boards were way out of my price range. I read other reviews and looked at pics of others that installed these same running boards. I installed them myself; in my garage; after arriving home from work; before I ate dinner. Install was simple. I used a pair of needle nose pliars to remove the rubber plugs and a 1/2" socket w/ratchet. Make sure u install the plastic covers on the brackets before you install the running boards onto the brackets. Thats the only mistake I made. Me; my wife; and kids love the running boards.

Took about two hours with no help to install. Previous review warned of misprint in instructions as to which rail to use, says to start on passenger side but says use driver side rail? was a little scheptical about how much tork to apply to the frame clips, seemed to tighten enough. A good thing would be to add a small tube of locktite to the packaging to help ensure the bolts will stay tight? Also the plastic covers which cover the mounting brackets use a fairly cheap plastic plug to hold them in place. The final assembly looks great. Installed on 2016 GMC Canyon. Time will tell on the durability of the powder coated finish.

So I recently just purchased my Colorado last month and I mostly use it as a commuter truck to work. Now I am a tall person, but some of my coworkers are pretty short. I decided to purchase some side steps and came across these from Tyger. Shipping was prompt, and was able to put it in the back of the truck bed. Once I got home from work, I tackled the project. It took me about 1 & 1/2 hours to completely install them, and afterward, put the steps to the test. I was impressed on how much weight these can handle and the appearance that comes with it. I would definitely recommended this product to all.

I bought these for my husband when I purchased the Tyger TG-BC3C1039 Tri-Fold Tonneau Truck Bed Cover for his new 2016 Chevy Colorado. Getting up into the truck was a little struggle since it sits so high. I found these Bars and it has really helped me getting in and out of the truck. They appear to be very sturdy and the price was very reasonable. The bars along with the Tonneau Cover shipped very quickly and was well packaged. Installation was very easy for my husband and they compliment the truck so well. We both are very much satisfied!
