Then I read it in one sitting. Of course that nearly made my brain go kablooey, so I'm now re-reading it with a modicum of decorum, and really trying to absorb all this content.
These 21 ways aren't thin or shallow ideas thought up just to fill out the series. Slattery has written 21 meaty, thorough, actionable ways to make a LOT of money if we follow each one.
If you have speaking as a part of your business model, then buying this book is a no-brainer. Felicia has a real winner here. Don't miss it.
I personally like 'Way 8'. The litmus test she describes was dead on with my niche. Friends and associates constantly attempt to "pick my brain" on controlling their money and debt reduction. The 'Way 8' solution has the potential to create a revenue stream for me.
I recommend this book to anyone who may desire speaking in front of two or more people and never thought they could make money at it.
You'll love it..
First of all, I must let you know, I am a biased reviewer because I had the wonderful experience to meet Felicia a few years back during her, like mine, training as a good speaker with Dave Lakhani (http://www.amazon.com/Persuasion-Art-Getting-What-Want/dp/0471730440/). What a sweet mommy lady.
All her mid western mominess comes through.
Great for brand new peeps considering the speaking field.
About 200 words per idea.
Once you're ready, advance to those books by Dottie Walters (http://www.amazon.com/Simple-Things-Business-Crisp-Professional/dp/1560523166/) or her daughter's (Lily Walters) book (http://www.amazon.com/Ways-Money-Speaker-Consultant-Trainer/dp/007142802X/) for only ten bucks more.
Felicia's book content say 100 pages, but it's really about 50. Each of her 21 tips is about 100-200 words and then QR code pages. If you are in Toastmasters and don't know where to go from there, this is the booklet for you!
