I absolutely LOVE this monitor! The only downside is that they are not made to mount to a VESA mount. If you decide you would like to mount these monitors to a VESA mount make sure you buy the adapters. Works great. However, a part of the plastic border was popped out leaving a rather large gap between the screen and the white border. Luckily it snapped back into place, but it shouldn't have arrived like that. If a customer wasn't brave enough to try pushing it into place, it would have been returned.
I find the on-board speakers sound really cheap. My old macbook and previous HP laptop from 2010 give off better sound. But I'm glad the option is there.

Wow! I was skeptical when I saw the price, but this monitor really is something. Basic color controls to tweak for your picture preferences. Nothing too fancy. For anyone looking for a solid and straightforward 1080 experience this is a great choice. The built in speakers aren't great of course, but they're not terrible either. They can definitely do in a pinch if you don't have headphones or speakers. The dual HDMI is great! I have my PC on one input and my PS4 on the other. If you want the best bang for your buck, look no further.

My son wanted this and two other items for Christmas. He explained that this monitor was reasonably priced, but still offered gaming features, which is what was important to him. The 22 inch size is great for a teen's desk. The resolution is crisp and bright. He is very pleased with this monitor.

I just recently purchased this monitor for a new PC build, after about two days I noticed a small red pixel on the screen. I only noticed it after I booted up a demanding game to check benchmarks. Thinking it wasn't the monitor at first, I scoured all other possibilities. It was however, the monitor. I took some advice from WikiHow once I decided that it was a "stuck pixel". For whatever reason, I could only see the red pixel on dark backgrounds and not the white background of my wallpaper and many websites. I took a cleaning cloth and used it to massage the small spot where I saw the pixel, it ended up working and the pixel corrected itself. It isn't a bad monitor what so ever, my only gripes being the glossy finish to the stand and bezel. It has great color and saturation (coming from a person who is Tritanopia colorblind however so take that with a grain of salt). But I just cant get myself to rate it higher just yet, maybe after a few months I will edit my review so I can see if I get any more of these stuck pixels.

The monitor is good and if it lasts as long as the last Asus I had, I'll be satisfied.
The included cables were as advertised, there was a VGA cable and a DVI-to-HDMI cable, however the description says this monitor has a DVI port, which is does not. The DVI-HDMI cable now only works when there is a DVI port on the computer. My previous Asus monitor had both DVI and HDMI ports on the monitor.

I love this Monitor so much I'm probably going to buy another one. The color balance, brightness, contrast ratio and response time are vastly superior to the Acer I have sitting next to it. I watched The Avengers on it last night and was very pleased with how smooth it was. I also like the extra width of the 16:9 aspect ratio over 16:10. More horizontal real estate allows for better viewing for multiple windows. Would've been nice to include DisplayPort, but they included a DVI to HDMI cable so I'm covered. I've been an ASUS fan for many years and they've continued to deliver with this unit. I don't think there's a better monitor under $200 out there.

Its even better then I thought it would be. Mine just arrived here today and once I set it up I noticed a huge difference from the monitor I was using before, If you are a gamer and looking for a good monitor this one is definitely the best for the price, I think its the best for pc gaming because its the perfect size but if you are a console gamer and don't mind playing on a medium sized screen then this is definitely the best. It even comes with a decently long DVI to HDMI cable and a VGA cable as well.

Response time is great. However, the colors are a little washed out being a TN-Panel monitor. Though I have seen other TN panel monitors with better colors. It is a decent entry level gaming monitor if you are on a budget. I wouldn't recommend this monitor for use where color accuracy matters like graphic designing, photo editing etc. an IPS display monitor would smash it to the ground. On the greener side, it has two HDMI input ports which comes in very handy when you need to switch your input source. I use a desktop and a laptop connected to this monitor switching between them is a breeze.
