I'm really OCD so when I buy a cable extension to make my pc completely black and white, I expect the friggin cables I buy to actually be white, which these aren't. They're more of a light bluish grey. Also it isn't very flexible and I needed them to make a sharp bend which put a lot of torque on them

So I must admit, that I actually don't use this adapter any more. I discovered Bitfenix's products, and they were too beautiful to miss (they use paracord sleeving)! But that doesn't mean that the NZXT cables are not totally great! Apart from one caveat I will address below, they suited my needs perfectly!

BUILD/QUALITY
The adapters are well sleeved, with not a great deal of extra sleeving (they are pretty tight). The heatshrink was cut very evenly, something which seems obvious but I have seen other companies skip over entirely! The plastic used for the connectors does not seem flimsy in the slightest. The ONLY issue that I have to mention is the quality of the sleeving. I have been sleeving cables for many years, and not just in computers. I have come across all kinds of sleeving and I have to say that the sleeving used here is really mediocre. It doesn't look bad (especially with the white cables they use underneath) but it has absolutely NO heat resistance. I re-sleeved two of the cables in a grey from Bitspower to go with the MDPC look, and when using my HEAT-SHRINK GUN (specifically designed for this application), the NZXT sleeving actually melted. The bitspower sleeving that I was aiming it was totally unscathed. Oh well, lesson learned.

AESTHETICS
Apart from the one point I made above, I have no complaints at all! The sleeving looks great, the shrink is done well and the wire used is malleable enough to put it where you want without being too flimsy!

WHY 4 STARS?
- Looks wonderful (++)
- Mostly a quality product (++)
- Sleeving could be better

OVERALL
I really enjoyed this cable (and the others from the same line), however I would have paid an extra $2-3 for an adapter with higher-quality sleeving. Not at all bad, but I would suggest a quick search for Bitfenix on FrozenCPU!

It adds a professional touch to my rig without the headache of sleeving the whole PSU. The sleeving could be a little better for the price. The cables are actually white underneath the sleeving. The fact that I can see the cable should tell you that the sleeving isn't the greatest. But it still looks pretty good, so I'm happy with it.

The cable adapter works perfectly. Very nice look in my White Phantom NZXT Case. If it had a clear window, I might have gone for the UV version of this cable with a UV light.

These did their job and seem to be manufactured in a quality manner. They are stiffer than a hand sleeved variant and the shrink tubing at the ends could be better.
