We are really happy with our delivery! Only two dead in the whole box, arrived on time and quick customer service response.
My one recommendation though is to buy smaller than you want. We ordered 1/2in crickets and recieved many that were larger than that. They chirp!
That aside we will order again. Great first experience.

Follow up: These crickets did great. Hardly any died while storing them as opposed to the low quality pet store crickets. I feel like I always lose half of them in the keeper but these stayes healthy and alive until I ran out.

WELP. I assumed they'd be in a bag to prevent them escaping. Boy was I wrong. They all arrived live and well... with half of them now scurrying in my room after trying to find a proper way to get them into my cricket keeper. I reluctantly came to a conclusion to violently shake the box into my leopard gecko enclosure and hand capture them one by one and sometimes by the handful. This gave me the opportunity to organize the enclosure to the dismay of my gecko girls. The poor dears were so overwhelmed by crickets; they had no idea where to go. be VERY CAREFUL opening the box as all that prevents the horde of insects invading your home is the cardboard box.

All 250 were alive “YAY” . The only issue I had and this is just to inform the new buyers, that when I went to open the box, I almost had crickets everywhere. I thought they would come in a closed container or box in box. But Nope. Lol I have a sense of humor and actually laugh and closers the lid like a ninja. All is good ! I will be ordering more. Thanks for my crickets. Owen loves them.

My first order lasted an entire month. This order was already dying off upon arrival. There were 8 dead crickets in the box. And, after 2 days upon closer inspection, I noticed small worms with the crickets. I carefully removed the ones I could see. Not sure what happened. But I did the same as I had with the first order. I gave them a little veggies lettuce and carrots along with the cricket food and the water pillows and changed these things out daily. Yet each day, there were more casualties. Within 5 days they were all dead. I was so disappointed because the first order had gone so well and I thought I had found the solution to my food problem. We had a chain called Petland Discounts that provided all sorts of feeders and all of the stores in my area closed. Petco and Petsmart still have not been able to meet the needs of the additional customers. To this day, they get a delivery on Thursday and it's gone by Sunday. So, the loss of this second batch was terrible. However, I don't know the cricket deaths were some sort of anomaly or if I just got lucky with the first batch.

Beware you may end up with more dead crickets then expected

Gotta say I expected that the shipping would off SOME of the crickets. I was thinking that I would be happy if only about 15-30% of them ended up dead but sadly when they came in it was more like 65-85% were dead and it’s probably because they just ship them straight up in the box for some unknown reason. Got Dubai roaches from amazon and none were dead at all and they didn’t just come in the cardboard box. Now I know roaches are more resilient, but cmon there were wayyyy too many dead crickets.

It’s only the day of, but that’s what I was most worried about. I’ve seen my fair share of bad reviews, that almost made me not buy from here. But once again, it was a success! They came in a very nice box with lots of air access. They arrived with food, and some egg cartons. They had a few friends with them (beetles), but they were easy enough to get out. Literally only had two dead on arrival and I feel there was about 250 (what I ordered). All in all, it came fast and was what I ordered. Thank you guys for the safe transport and healthy crickets.

Almost all we’re dead upon arrival. I intercepted the package as soon as it arrived, so it didn’t sit in my mailbox at all. I opened it right away to find almost all of the crickets dead. I would say about 15-20 alive at most. I transferred all of them to a terrarium anyway and placed them near the floor heater in case they had just gone dormant. No success. The great news is that I was given a full refund, very quickly! My guess is they died in transit.
