Received very fast, ordered Thur and it was on doorstep Sat AM. It does exactly what it says, ignore negative reviews. Man, I am so happy, I wasn't getting any local channels; now I get 4, this thing works great. I live between Cincy and Dayton in the bottom of a crater-like area. On top of that, I'm in the back of apt building on 2nd floor with multiple walls between me and signal. I used my RCA OTA Indoor/Outdoor. It wouldn't pick up much here, but worked great before on flat land. So I shelled out for a Mohu Leaf OTA 50 mile-with amp and still could barely just pick up 1 Cincinnati channel. I searched around on the web and after several articles stumbled upon this combiner. I hooked it up immediately and without adjusting the antennas or anything I automatically got 33 channels. I hooked up a 4' coaxial extension to the RCA antenna so I could move it around a bit and I noticed the signal got stronger all of a sudden without moving anything, so go figure. I don't even need to move it around, I'm happy with what it picked up on 1st scan. I am so happy and recommend this device to anyone who lives in an awkward spot for TV reception. 2 antennas into this bad boy picked up all kinds of channels from both cities. Plus, I'm sure the built-in amp on Leaf helps too. I took it off. Then I ran amp off the back of the combiner, then into TV, to boost both signals and seems to help. These Leaf antennas are sensitive, just barely moving the cord could make the channels come in or go out before. Now with this combiner it should always come in clear, just in time for NFL. Too bad they don't sell these in stores. Went to Best Buy, Menards, Radio Shack, no one carries them. Plus it also runs in reverse, in case you wanted to send 1 antenna to 2 TV's, so cool device. Not the same as a Coaxial Splitter, a splitter will not work to combine antennas. I have just as many channels as basic cable now for about $15 with shipping. With the combiner I picked up channels that the antennas wouldn't pick up on their own, like it made them stronger. Because what I read about them said it will only pick up what each antenna gets and then you 'combine' those 2 lineups. But, today I picked up several channels I wanted that neither would pick up before regardless of where I put them. So this device is excellent!!!

connecting 2 antennas

I used this to connect 2 Range Xperts Long Range Outdoor VHF/UHF Antennas, XPS-1500, tried using a 1 to 2 coax splitter, that did not work as well as this combiner. Antenna Direct DB8E also uses one, this is actually where i got it from. Went out a youtube, also found many others using it as well.

i configured mine starting from the antenna, 5' lead, to combiner, to pre-amp, into the house to DC power, then to splitters, combiner or TVs. remember, everytime you go through a splitter, you degrade a signal.

view youtube, Tyler, aka AntennaMan, he has showcased many antennas and accessories, i wish i had done that before starting my project instead of relying on my 30 some years of experience. though at experience is valuable, i did buy 8 antennas, a lot of them were junk as Tyler has outlined. it could have saved me frustration, time, money, you get the idea.

Switching the a/b box everytime I flicked through the channels just to see what's in the Harrisburg cbs got pretty annoying. Now I get all the stations with ...

Does what I needed. Have an antenna on the west end of my roof, about a foot from the gutter, facing south. Have another on the east end of the roof, at the peak, pointing west. The south facing antenna gets Harrisburg cbs and sister stations. The other antenna gets 3 networks and sister stations from Scranton PA. Switching the a/b box everytime I flicked through the channels just to see what's in the Harrisburg cbs got pretty annoying. Now I get all the stations with out having to switch antennas.

It's not perfect, one cbs is ch 21, the other is 22, so I had to but a cheap Walmart amp($15) before the combiner, to up the Harrisburg cbs, so the other antenna didn't over power it. Sometimes it'll pixelate the Scranton antenna now and again, but then after I settle on a channel, if it's getting pixelated, I reach over and unplug the amp, then everything's clear(I just lose Harrisburg cbs until I plug it back in.)

Regular splitter failed miserably, and switching antennas through an a/b box gets old quick, so I'm happy with this. Especially for the price.

I reversed it, connected 2 same maker, length coax cables to 2 of same maker, model of antennas.

Coaxial cables I used from Amazon: Cable Matters 3-Pack CL2 in-Wall Rated (cm) Quad Shielded Coaxial Cable 10 ft (RG6 Cable, asin: B00LETALT6).

2 Antennas I got from Amazon: CeKay Outdoor Antenna Yagi Satellite HD Antenna (asin: B089G4WRC4).
They work great together or as single antennas for the price. Mine are INSIDE the home, work great but I'm 38 miles ish from some stations I couldn't pull in with just a single antenna.

The splitter I used prior to using this "combiner" : GE Digital 2-Way Coaxial Cable Splitter, 2.5 GHz 5-2500 MHz,33526 (asin: B0054EILOE).

I received same (at least i think) channels with this combiner vs just using the GE splitter, but for sure, when I did change the GE splitter out for the combiner, I didn't lose any channels, reception was still good.

Solved my OTA antenna reception issue

This combiner worked very well to solve a problem I had with limited reception of channels to the west of my directional antenna, which is pointed east. I could get the west TV station towers, but signal strength was only fair and the signal broke up frequently. I added a second directional antenna pointed west, and connected both the east and west facing antennas in this combiner. My signal strength for western TV station towers went from 3 to 5 bars! I also was able to pick up 4 additional stations the east-pointing antenna couldn't get at all. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a similar configuration. I did some online research before installation and do want to point out it is important to have the antennas you are connecting at least 2 feet apart from one another, and you have to use the same length, identically rated (i.e. RG6 for example) coax cables to avoid multi-path interference, which if present, limits the reception of stations from one of the two antennas.
