Are you a backpacker/camper awkwardly reading the reviews and Q/A section of the automotive department on Amazon? If so, read on!Heet (the yellow bottle)! You've heard it, you've seen it, you're probably wondering, is this the stuff?Yes, it is! If you are camping with a liquid alcohol stove such as an evernew, trangia, or the likes, then this is the stuff everyone has told you to buy.If you ask the manufacturer, they will say no because it is not what they made it for and therefore is not something they can be held liable for.This stuff burns very cleanly and hot, and leaves no soot or marks on my Toaks titanium pot. For a cup of coffee in the woods on a brisk morning, use about 1oz and you should have a rolling boil within about 5 minutes if you have a properly working stove. I'd say 1.5oz for a full pot of water to cook up a dehydrated meal.It worked for me, it should work just the same for you!
