I have used this for a couple of weeks now and it has been working great. I have it hooked to my main computer at home so I can leave my headphones plugged in and turn down the main speakers when I don't want to interrupt other people in the house. I haven't heard any loss in sound especially bass from my sub-woofer; it thumps just as much through the splitter. I can recommend this to anyone who needs a splitter. I had one like it before for the last several years and I think I put too much stress on it at one point so it stopped working.
