Dear Gerald; I love "30!" But, unsurprisingly, after I ran into you at the elevator on the Smooth Jazz Cruise and asked in advance if "Wine Light" was going to be on it and it wasn't, I was disappointed. You play it (as you did the final night of the cruise!) almost as good as Grover Washington, Jr. And, while first listening to "30", I comprised my own "30", having all of your albums but the one that you did with Gerald Alston, which I can't find. I started my 30 with "Wine Light" of course, and continued with "So Amazing"; "My, My, My"; "Anniversary"; and ended my 30 with "When Morning Comes" and "New Girl On The Block." But, they are all good! Thanks for thirty wonderful years of music that helped to carry me through the good and bad times.

The only thing better is hearing Gerald live!
I got this CD when it was first released and can't begin to tell you how many times I"ve played it, along with the rest of my colleciton of Gerald Albright CD's. Every track on 30 is a clear demonstration of his mastery of the sax. If there was a six star rating, this CD would certainly warrant it! Looking forward to hearing Gerald again at the next opportunity that comes along! The photo attached with this review was Gerald playing at the DoubleTree Hotel last year at the Berks Jazz Fest in Reading, PA.

Oh my! I received “30 Gerald Albright” CD on yesterday! I have been playing on repeat! This is a remarkable project by Saxophonist Gerald Albright! He’s the BEST in the business! Yes! I have been a fan for 30 years! As I am listening, I can hear each instrument being played! It actually sounds like a LIVE recording because it is so clean and clear! A well produced album along with Mr. Chris Davis “My Big Dog”! Totally Awesome! A must have for all Smooth Jazz Fans and lovers of Sax!! Fav tracks Just Between Us, Bermuda Nights, 4 On The Floor
