As of June 17, 2015 is is approximately 10 dollars cheaper to buy the whole set, and nearly all complete collections are simply collections of individual seasons. No substitute for a hard copy! All these other reviews seem to be based on unrelated matters and I highly doubt that Tina fey is allowed to arbitrarily choose the price for Amazon......

OK...each season seems to be available individually for about $11.

There are seven seasons - totaling about $77.00.

So why would I pay almost $100 bucks for a set of all seven? It doesn't even appear to be a box set - just a collection of individual seasons. Hmm. Maybe this is Tina's last laugh.

This is a overpriced set for sure. 30 Rock is a great comedy show and I love it but you are better off buying the dvd's individually off Amazon instead of this complete set because it will be cheaper and there is nothing included here that isn't on the individual dvd's. Do the math yourself and you will see its much cheaper to purchase the dvd's individually than waste your money on this overpriced set. 30 Rock rules .

The individual seasons total $80.43. Complete series bundle cost $97.99. Individual seasons with Amazon Prime free 2 day shipping is a much better deal saving $17.56 over the bundled set. Yes, it is Tina's last laugh.

I don't understand the criticism of this complete set. It doesn't come in a box, but all 7 seasons are bundled together in plastic wrap. Who needs a box? They are the original DVDs and I don't consider $85 to be outlandish for 7 seasons. Considering the only store that sells them anymore, Best Buy, charges $29.99 each and they have to order them. That would be $210. So this is a fine bargain and they are wonderful - all the seasons with so many extras. The whole reason I bought the disks was for the subtitles. Now I can catch every word they say. As you might know, the reason they have to talk fast is to fit the script into the allotted time, rather than trim the script. This is my number one favourite tv comedy. It is brilliant in every way and I enjoy watching them again and again because there is so much content.
