Emma is a unaltered human, with a star designation. She moved to Zion after her parents died of a treatable illness after they were denied care by the Alliance. She has a job she like, working in a donut shop, and helps her "Rebel"
family with what ever she can. She has a secret crush on Trip, who started coming to the shop just about every morning for the last few months.
Trip can't stay away from Emma, even though he know she should. When Emma is threatened by her Elite employers he steps in and stakes his claim, much to the amusement of his best friend, Jais, who as been pushing him to exactly that.
Fast paced, sweet and steamy. Loved Emma and Trip's story. Hoping Jais and Emma' cousin Elle get stories.
Great insights into Trip's grumpy character. Lovable new mate. A bit on the short side of short but great nonetheless.
Now I'm hungry for more!

Three stars given as this was not good value for money. This author is not the only one who has risen their prices however, I do expect more than a 45minute read for my money unless I'm paying 99p. Very disappointed over that and honestly feel £2.30 was too much to pay with not enough story to justify it.
