From the manufacturer
Use only on clean surfaces. For best results use 303 Multi-Surface Cleaner. Place a drop cloth under the cleaner to be treated to catch any overspray.Out of direct sun, spray surface with 303 Aerospace Protectant and wipe completely dry. If streaking occurs, too much product has been used. Use a wet towel to remove excess, immediately wipe completely dry. Note: this product does not air dry. Extra buffing with a dry cloth increases bonding, repellency and longevity. We recommend re-applying 303 Aerospace Protectant every 3-5 weeks for maximum UV protection.
303 Aerospace Protectant
Originally engineered for aerospace and aviation applications, 303 Aerospace Protectant has found its way into millions of homes for day-to-day use on vehicles, sports equipment and more. Unlike many protectants that leave greasy residues, Aerospace dries to a clear matte finish without a trace of oil. And because it’s water-based, this protectant is safe to use on all products, from your vehicle’s paint job and leather seats to internal engine parts. There’s a lot of power packed into this one product. A premium surface treatment, Aerospace not only protects against fading, discoloration and cracking from harmful UV rays, but repels dust and stains, too.
- No other protectant beautifies as intensely or preserves as powerfully. Keep UV-sensitive materials looking new, year after year
- Leaves a beautiful, matte finish
- Made in the U.S.A.
303 Aerospace Protectant has many applications, including:
Spray on your vinyl boat seats to prevent them from fading and cracking during boating season. Will also help keep them clean from dust, sand, and will help prevent those dreaded sunscreen stains.
Automobile Interiors and Exteriors
Use on your vehicle’s dashboard every 30-45 days, to protect it from the sun’s harmful UV rays, preventing fading and cracking over time. Spray on tires to make them look new without the greasy film. Use on your convertible top to keep it pliable and cleaning up easier.
Use on your spa cover all year long! It will protect it from the sun’s harmful UV rays (which can cause fading/cracking) in the summer months, and in the winter, it will keep the material pliable and prevent it from drying out and cracking. 303 Aerospace Protectant will also help make snow and ice accumulation easier to remove/brush off as well.
Keep your plastic, metal, or wicker outdoor patio furniture from fading, cracking and chalking. It will also help repel dust, dirt and grime, that can quickly accumulate on your furniture during the enjoyable BBQ season.

As a "protectant" I'm very happy with how my car's dashboard has maintained it's color over the past 3 1/2 years (60K+ miles) and I attribute this to the 303 protectant. I've also been using it on my Weber Grill cover that is kept protected from the rain, but in the direct sunlight and I haven't noticed any fading on the cover like I experienced with previous covers that I didn't apply the 303. As noted earlier, if you apply it to surfaces that are exposed to rain, you will need to reapply more often.
Like most Amazon shoppers, I count on honest, unbiased reviews. I hope you have found this review helpful in making your purchase decision.
I am TOTALLY blown-away at what this did for the dashboard...... actually revived that old rough and dry vinyl and made it look rich and new again!!!! Hoping the effect lasts, at least for a reasonable length of time. I am adding a couple of "after" photos... unfortunately I didn't take a "before" one...... guess I really didn't have any expectation that anything could save it.
May 12, 2016 UPDATE: After 6 months the dashboard still looks great! It's hard to believe that a product like this could revive the old dried-out vinyl and keep it looking so good for so long.. once again, I'm totally amazed and highly recommend this item!
February 7th, 2016 UPDATE: Sorry about the date typo on the last update.... obviously should have been 2015.
But I am Amazed yet again!! It's been more than one year and my dashboard still looks good! Don't know how this stuff works, but it sure does! Wish I had taken a "before" photo of the dash, but I never expected this product to be able to revive it so I didn't.
Forget everything you thought you knew about "protectants" such as Armor All, tire dressings, detailers, or basically anything else you have ever used on a vehicle or other object. I am not joking when I say you will NEVER use anything else after trying this. I keep ordering it, and will order it by the gallon till the day I die. This stuff is GOOD for your tires for example. Most dressings harm them and dry them out. This stuff simply sprayed on with no care in the world ends up making the tires look factory fresh. It will not add a greasy wet shine look. If you want that, you will have to keep looking. However, if you want your tires to basically NEVER dry rot, and to look literally as though you just got back from the tire shop with new tires every single day, this is your new best friend. If you have tires that are not used often, such as an RV or trailer, 303 will pay for itself many times over.
So that's tires. Tires are expensive. If that was the only thing you could do with this stuff I would be JUST as sold. However there is so much more. Fading plastic trim? This makes it look new and black again. Interior of your vehicle roasting in the sun? Original factory 3M scotchguard turned into white chalk that NOTHING can remove? BAM like brand new in one simple application. It also STAYS that way on interiors. Period. No greasy slick feel, no dirt attraction. Just better than new looks, and UV protected into the future. I am absolutely in love with this stuff. It's incredible what it does. It pretty much pauses time going forward, and in the case of vehicle interiors even looks like it goes BACK in time. Use it on every door or window seal on your vehicle or RV. All hoses and rubber items. It does not contain silicone, it will not dry or damage anything.
The only sort of negative thing is that it can be effected by water. If you put this on heavy (the way I do on tires) on a say trim on the top of your car, it may streak slightly after a rain. That said it isn't GONE from the surface, and will continue beading water long after you don't see it anymore. Buffing this stuff in (as if you were trying to remove it) using a cloth actually enhances this effect. This material never truly dries, which is why you are meant to rub it in. Do so for everything but tires.
One other note; Others have mentioned keeping overspray off of the clear plastics on your gauge clusters as some have reported it leaving permanent marks or dots. I've not experienced any issues with any type of plastic. However I never spray it at surfaces in my car. I always spray a cloth and apply it evenly that way. The only thing I just blast it at is tires. I've been extra mindful of the possibility thanks to those reviews and I am simply passing that info forward.
Again, buy it. Your only regret will be not buying a larger quantity of it. You WILL be back!
