Maybe your thinking but he doesn't treat me the way I deserve or talk to me the way I deserve, someone has got to give and change. If it's not him-it's you.
At the end of every chapter there is something to do like a call to action and those things...WOW those are what God used to change my heart. Even days when I didn't read the book when I picked it back up it was exactly what I was dealing with-God is always on time!
Be sure and encouraged that if your walking with God and truly are praying and taking this book at your own pace God will change you and thus change your marriage. Just give it time.
No one book has all the answers-yes actually there is one: The Bible and this book is biblically sound and is complementary to Bible reading and Daily Prayer and journaling-These together will change your marriage! God is able!
Books like this are speaking in general, I understand that. It still was a good read, but one needs to focus on the concept: The only person you CAN change is yourself. I decided that happiness inside each of us, and a God given gift. So yes, I am a happy wife.
I definitely recommend this book and know you will be able to apply it to your life and marriage as well.
