About Installation
1. During installation, the pole is rotated and inserted into the connector, which is easy and firm. If the strength is not enough, you can use an auxiliary tool to fully insert the pole into the connector, so that the frame will not be wider than the tent and the zipper will not fail to pull. Pay special attention to the triangle area and be careful not to exert force.
2. Unroll the backdrop sheet, need to use the curved side of the background to insert each end under the top and bottom flaps. If you install incorrectly, the background sheet will drop.

I am a ceramic artist and need to take good pictures of my work. I have struggled for years with backdrops and lighting and this has been the perfect solution! I did buy an extra graduated background for it because I like them with my work, but it comes with black, white, red and blue backgrounds. I don't plan on taking it places with me, so I have it set up on a table in my studio and it's easy to just open the flap, turn the lights on and snap a picture. The white cloth softens the light from above so that I don't get as much glare on my glazes. I got the 32" x32" because I do have some taller pieces that would not work in a shorter box. In the photo of the 2 pots, the largest is 11" tall but look how small it looks in the box and still works great. This has changed my life! Just use my iPhone, snap and it's off to a customer or ready to go on Instagram or facebook. I highly recommend this!

pros:
1. its way larger than you need (id assume anyway)
2. setting it up initially takes time but it takes maybe two minutes for me now
3. it packs away into its carrying case very easily
4. multiple backdrops, white red and blue come with it.
5. The LEDs are more than bright enough to not need additional lights unless you are looking for color
cons:
1. the zippers are tricky. This is basically a zipped up reflective bag over a metal box frame. Its extremely snug on the frame. Be very careful going around the corners of the box.
2. I could not figure out how to hang the backdrop..for like forever. I hang it now using the back end of the lights clips (you can see in the video).
3. because its large, even in its carrying case its going to take up a significant amount of space.

When I ordered this I was somehow picturing it considerably smaller in my head, despite the cover photo being a man standing in front of it to scale. Its really good because its huge, you can put all kinds of things in it and even use other lights like a RGB light on a tripod shining into it. In my attached video I show you some of the details like how the bars show and how I run my lights in it. You also get to see it reflecting on a stuffed toy of winnie the pooh. I cant tell you enough how slow you need to be the first few times putting it together, the zippers are so snug and they can be hard to zip.By influence peddler on September 25, 2019

Huge Lightbox! Great for Product Photography

First things first, it's huge! Almost a 3-foot cube. You can easily shoot anything in this thing as long as it fits. Setup took me a while the first time but gets easier. The light strips are bright and can be dimmed to your liking. You can adjust the lights away from directly hitting the product so you don't get light. Use the diffuser to spread the light. I didn't because I forgot it was there. LOL! This is perfect for product photography. Let it set up if you have a big enough space. I'll probably break it down and put it together when I need it. It comes with 4 color panels that roll-up. They are made of a PVC or thick mylar the provides a great backdrop. The description says cloth but it is not. Honestly, the plastic works better because you'll never have to deal with wrinkles. I'm giving this two thumps up!

I'm not a photographer, I know nothing about ISO or lighting or anything. I'm opening an etsy in February to sell headpieces for cosplays and conventions and was unhappy with my phone photos in front of a basic LED light and white wall. So i decided to get this light box and OMG such a difference! My products actually look PROFESSIONAL and the lighting allows everything to shine like it is supposed to! These photos were taken with just a phone camera (Galaxy S20). It's easy to put together, the LED lights are perfecct (and can change brightness), and it comes with different colored backdrops. It was an expensive investment but totally worth it! I definitely reccomend it to anyone on the fence- especially if you are wanting to take photos for products.
