Here's a sample cookie recipe found at the start of the book:

4 tablespoons oat flour
Few drops of vegetable oil to grease baking dish
Directions to make Protein Cookies:
Preheat baking oven at 350 degrees F.
Take a deep bowl and add all ingredients in it
Blend well till a smooth mixture is formed. Use few drops water to smoothen the mixture if tight
Take a baking dish and grease
Put tablespoons of mixture on the tray separately
Bake for 12 minutes till golden brown
Remove from oven and leave it to cool for 2 minutes
Use spatula to transfer from tray to serving plate
Enjoy with tea
To be fair this book seems be European based and a cookie may mean a cracker and the missing sugar normally found in cookies would be acceptable in this recipe. I just wonder how tasty this recipe truly is...The above recipe is posted as written in the cookbook.
There are other recipes and none truly appealed to my sense of taste. I truly believe you'd have to be a desperate dieter to enjoy this cookbook.
Do not recommend.
The recipes in this book are so easy and tasty that there is no excuse for eating bad things. I look forwarding getting the extra weight off just be eating healthier snacks.
Many recipes are more like serving suggestions like "buy store bought diet crakers and make a spread with some veggies and low-cal cream cheese. Put spread on crackers and eat." Who needs a recipe for that? In fact, why not just buy an already-flavored diet spread to spread on the store-bought diet crackers? Many recipes include store bought items like "strawberry sauce" (whatever that is).
The first recipe looks absolutely gross--egg whites, protein powder, and flour? Yuck!
It needs some formatting and editing for punctuation as well.
I would have given it only one star except I think some recipes or serving suggestions might be good for someone. This was a freebie to me, and it's already deleted. I wouldn't suggest anyone pay anything for this. Better recipes can be found online for free.
