I purchased the Flexibound book and I love it! I wish it was a bit bigger, though that would likely increase the price of the book (love the price, so I'm stick with this size!). I have been writing on the pages, as intended, and I find this book to be very helpful. I am a mom of 16 month old twins and I often feel scatterbrained from all the chaos of raising twins, working 2 jobs, and keeping up with day-to-day life. I have forgotten about my own goals, desires, thoughts, etc. This book is helping me remember and allowing me to actually write down these goals/desires/thoughts. While you could do this without the book, the questions that this book asks really get you to think about your life and what you want, which is important to me. I'm really enjoying this process and I'm trying to write in this book every night. Not only do I plan to revisit this book every few years (it will be fun to look back at my answers), but I think it might be a great book for my daughters to look at one day.
This is a fun, helpful book that I will be recommending to others! I also really appreciate the responses I received from the author, as I've never had an author respond to me before providing assistance. It was greatly appreciated!
Remember when you were young, and notes were best written in the tiniest letters possible? The more important, the smaller. The more secret, the smaller. This is a tiny little book for you to write all your secrets in - including the ones you don't know you're keeping.
Buy it for a teenager. Buy two for a couple getting married. Buy it for yourself. What you'll get out of it is SO much bigger than this book!
The questions are probing. If you are honest, you should develop good insight to yourself and maybe even develop plans to pursue a new dream.
I also think it would be interesting to revisit some of the questions in 5-10 years to see how I've changed and grown. Would be a good gift to college graduates as they are learning about themselves and a place in the world...
Also a good gift for anyone kind of "stuck" in where they are and not sure about themselves or where to go.
I love the mind-map format, especially when the arrows prompt you to double back and rethink something after you've answered and after looking and thinking from a completely different angle. Plus, the book is small enough that I carry it in my purse and bring it out at times when I otherwise wouldn't, thereby causing creative thinking to permeate my day.
Awesome book! I've only just started, but already this book has helped me reclaim my passion for living the creative and writer's life. Plus given me some laughs. I've never read anything by Stefan G. Bucher before, but I am now a big fan!

The rainbow coloured pages are lovely also. I think a lot can be gained from this book in terms of creative development and also other life goals.
And there is just so so many topics and ideas that this book gives you! Author really did an amazing job in pulling the reader into really participating and taking this as a workbook (which is hard with such a cute and pretty book :D), even for very theoretical learner as myself.
Would definitely recommend it for anyone who is searching for inspiration (being it with life goals or just with new art and visual expression) or who is not sure where to move next in life - it will give you load of ideas, but also push you to find your own answers.
It can be a little confusing to look at but it's helpful and fun, and yes I would recommend it. Even if you have your life fully mapped out to the last detail. It's always good to get a little perspective :)
waiting in an airport lounge or a train station. I am enjoying it.
