355: The Women of Washington's Spy Ring (Women Spies) Kindle Edition
Who was the original Agent 355?
If you like the Broadway hit Hamilton, AMC's Turn, or Alexander Rose's Washington's Spies, you won't be able to put down this meticulously researched tale of family, duty, love, and betrayal!
1776: British sympathizer Margaret (Meg) Moncrieffe expects to find the carefree America she remembers as a youth when she returns from her Irish boarding school. Instead, she finds the new country at war, with her father on one side and her new love, Aaron Burr, on the other. Will her misguided attempt to end the war result in dire consequences for the Continental Army?
After her husband Jonathan is captured by the British and dies aboard one of the notorious prison ships, a pregnant Elizabeth Burgin realizes she is stronger than she once thought. But when the Culper Ring enlists her help on a prison heist, is Elizabeth willing to sacrifice everything in order to save the lives of strangers?
Instead of finding herself in danger when British intelligence officer Major John André shows up at her family’s doorstep, Sally Townsend finds herself falling in love. Nonetheless, she seizes the opportunity to pass on intelligence to her brother, Robert, knowing that one false move could result in the noose for them both. What will happen when Sally finds out that Major André is playing the same dangerous game as she and Robert, albeit for the other side?
Inspired by the true stories of these real-life heroines, 355 was a semi-finalist in the GOETHE Book Awards for post-1750s Historical Fiction!

The Women Spies Series by Kit Sergeant
Who was the Mysterious Agent 355?
Who was the mysterious 355 that could “outwit them all?” Inspired by many of the same characters featured in AMC’s Turn and the Broadway musical Hamilton, 355: A Novel chronicles the lives of three real-life women who use daring, skill, and, yes, a bit of flirtation, to help liberate America.
Two sides. One war to end all wars
When a war like no one has even seen rages through Europe in 1914, three women are set on a collision course with history, and one of them will make the ultimate sacrifice.
The French Resistance is depending on these women to change the course of history...
As the free world crumbles beneath the Germans' jackboots, the French Resistance is depending on these women to change the course of history...
Can a lone woman stop the Germans’ advance?
1940: The air is dense with the thick, acrid smoke of German bombs as Marie-Madeleine departs Paris, utterly alone in the world. Her destination is hundreds of kilometers away, where Navarre told her to meet him. Surely he would have a plan to get back at the Boches and fight for their freedom…

About the author

Like her character Addy in Thrown for a Curve, Kit Sergeant has a practically useless degree in marine biology. With eight historical fiction novels to her name, including riveting tales of real-life spies like Marie-Madeleine Fourcade and Nancy Wake, Kit weaves narratives known for bringing history to life through the lens of women who defied the odds. In addition to her historical fiction, Kit has also penned two novels in contemporary women's fiction, one of which, What It Is, was a previous Kindle Scout winner. A teacher by profession and at heart, Kit loves to impart little-known facts and dares you to walk away from one of her books without learning at least one new thing.
