This is my go to every year when the weather starts to warm up! It repels roaches and it also makes the kitchen and bathroom smell nice! I add drops of this with water and vinegar for cleaning countertops has a lovely fresh after sent that lingers for a long time. The peppermint is essential oil is perfect for repelling spiders! Now I just need to purchase a few other essential oils to make the perfect natural bug spray!

You can test the purity of the essential oil by dropping a bit on a piece of paper and allowing it to dry. If there is a ring present, that means that the oil has likely been diluted with another substance and is less pure. You can see the result. HOWEVER, it's very inexpensive. If you're diluting it to use as a topical, I'd say it's worth the money. Not a good aromatherapy oil. Makes a great pre-poop spray. Drop some in the toilet (especially with a spray bottle that mists) and the strong scent works as a cover and deodorizer. The oil that causes the purity test to fail also creates a "skin" over the water and prevents the smell from escaping!
