Today I opened a new one to make hot chocolate and found a piece of what looked like plastic in it. The lid is metal and I don't think it came in during my opening process. I think it is from the manufacturing process, so you should check to see if there are any others. I was able to find it because it was large, but if it had been smaller and buried deeper I would not have been able to find it and it might have ended up in a drink or cake for the kids. I like the quality of this cocoa powder itself and have bought it many times, but this is the first time this has happened to me. I guess I'll have to buy a different product until the facts become clearer.
