I bought Linda Kester's book, "366 Marketing Tips for Equpment Leasing," the first day it became available. Knowing Linda, I wanted to see what new ideas she had come up with and I was not disappointed. As the owner of an equipment leasing company, Midwest Leasing Group, since 1992, I have asked Linda to help us with other training, and training materials, and this book measures up to the reputation she's built in our organization, and in the equipment leasing industry overall. I have used the book to implement a "reminder list" to my sales staff, sending them one or two pages every week or so, and reminding them to follow the advice. Like any good motivational speaker's counsel, my experienced sales staff knows most of the material being presented; but a reminder to implement the sound ideas and sales techniques in the book keeps them focused on doing the right things. One good idea pays for the book 10-20 times. With 366 ideas to review, every motivated salesperson is certain to pick up a wealth of consultative advice that will cost justify the book many times over. Anyone involved equipment leasing should obtain a copy of this book for every sales person in their organization. Each person who acquires Linda's book should read the entire book, and then keep it on their desk, nightstand, kitchen table, or some other handy location where they can discipline themselves to re-read one page every day and implement that idea into their sales territory management.
