Yup, that's what I said. I would take these mats over Weathertech in a heartbeat.
Had Weathertech in my last car. They were okay. The fit was spot on and they did their job of keeping dirt and water contained and out of the carpet. But they were hard and hollow sounding when I stepped on them, they always looked dirty and the glued on logo came off in the summer heat. I liked them well enough but I found myself swapping them out for the factory carpet mats when the weather was nice.
These mats though, they are the real deal. The carpet backing sticks to the factory carpet like velcro, they don't slide around at all. The fit is good, not excellent. If the Weathertechs are a 10 then these mats are an 8.5 or so. They feel great under shoes, slightly soft and very durable. Way more comfortable than the WT mats are. Getting in and out doesn't leave scuffs and the color is a very dark black, so they blend in perfectly with the carpet. There is no risk of the logo falling off, since it's bolted on, but I do kind of wish it wasn't so reflective. When I get in the car at night the dome light lights it up like a hologram. Minor gripes, I would rate it 4 stars if these were $120 like the Weathertechs are ($100 on a good day), but they aren't. They are way cheaper.
Can't go wrong, buy them!
