I have a very difficult time getting P95/P100 face masks to seal properly around my nose, and after wearing them for a short time, I begin to fog my glasses (sealed when breathing in but flaps out a bit when I breathe out). They also make me overheat a bit and make it feel like I'm struggling to breathe.

Since I already had a 3M mask (NOT included, obviously) for vapor cartridges and had experienced no problems breathing and no glasses-fogging at all using said mask, I figured I'd give these guys a try. WORLD OF DIFFERENCE! I've primarily used them for wood sanding, but also used them to clean out a particularly dusty closet that hadn't been used in years, and wore them once when grooming a friend's rabbit that I'm allergic to (it's a long story...). No loose-fitting masks, fogged glasses, or breathing problems - just a solid flow of clean air. Do yourself a favor and ditch those crappy white cloth masks.

You simply need to get fresh filters for your mask

The 3M 6191 Small Respirator Assembly is great. But the assembly of course requires fresh filters from time to time. This seems the cheapest way to buy them. Besides, I haven't spotted the mask or filters at a hardware store, so this is a dependable and time saving way to get them. I love to work in the garden but have become highly allergic to grass spores, digging in the dirt, leaf mold and the allergens of spring, summer and fall. I've tried high quality dust masks, which simply don't fit tight enough or filter out enough spores. I've also tried heavy duty masks which are simply exhausting. Neither of the former allow air to flow very freely. This respirator feels comfortable, allows me to breath more freely and comes with high quality filters. I definitely give it five stars.

These work very well. They last a good amount of time. I can typically wear them in dusty conditions (I am a farmer, and clean out grain bins occasionally, as well as do woodworking and sanding.) and I find they will filter air for me for 10-20 hours of actual work or so before they become filled or difficult to pull air through. Wouldn't mind if they came in a color besides pink, but I can deal with that for not having to cough and feel miserable days after a project is completed. Wonderful thing to have as compared to the silly white masks that don't even seal to your face, or even worse, nothing at all. Lungs aren't easy to replace! Very consistent and high quality product.

These filters seem to perform quite well and I use them daily. I feel far more comfortable working in the world's most polluted city using this. As soon as I take these off the horrible smell in the air hits me. Very glad to have found these. The heavy metals used in fuels here combined with the raw sewage that's thrown into the streets is less than ideal. Once the sewage dries its turned into dust with all the vehicle traffic and all the excrement ends up in the air.

Suffer from allergies (nose and eyes). Purchased a respirator to cut grass. These filters really do the job. They are light and air passes through them very easy. They install quickly and with little effort. What ever is in the air, it doesn't get through the filter to ruin my day. I know wearing a respirator seems a bit much but being outside and having no ill effects is wonderful. I don't know how long it will work before I have to change to a new filter; I'm told when the air slows or breathing becomes difficult that is when you change. I'm thinking for my purpose it should last a long time.

Had to get these for the 3 m respirator. They are the same ones that come with the 3m. I dont know why they use such a bold color that attracts attention. I use it sometimes when mowing the yard and people drive by and look at me like Im an alien. Grey would have been just fine I think.

Works for all kinds of dust and pollen. Not for toxic anything ever. Wont filter out smells so you know not to use it for noxious chemicals. Works for dry wall as well.

Coupled with the proper mask, this will make your lungs feel invincible. I've tested it for many full days straight in my insulation, dirt, dust, and slate dust-filled attic (after a roof job). Well worth it.
