Top customer reviews
What I would consider a normal roll of electricians tape is 3/4" wide by 66' long. These rolls are only 1/2" wide by 20' long. They are very small rolls. See the attached picture where I have them compared next to a normal sized 3/4"x66' roll (that's already had quite a bit used from it) and you will get a better idea of their size.
Other than the size, it's different colored electrical tape and that's what I wanted (specifically the blue, green and yellow colors). I'll still use black electrical tape most often so hopefully these rolls will last quite a while since my need to have specific colors is fairly limited.
When it comes to certain products like electric tape, it is always reassuring to get a quality name brand product like 3M. You don't want electric tape to dry out and become brittle, exposing what could be live wires. There may be cheaper products out there from no name vendors but its not worth the risk.
It's not super sticky, as you expect of electrical tape, so you'll probably need to replace it eventually if you keep a repaired product for a long time. Worth it, though.
The tape is not as wide as normal electrical tape. I frequently use this to color code things for quick identification.
