For those of you that like to use lanyards on your sun/safety glasses, just know that the ends of the "arms" are a bit fat. If you have a really skinny rubber slip on style lanyard, they may not fit.
Would recommend to others and definitely will buy these again!
Great as sunglasses! I feel there will be a fogging issue once used in actual riding.. My other sunglasses fog up when riding and these don’t. I showed them to a friend and he bought 4 pair.
Update: I just made another purchase. My husband had tried mine on and liked them so guess what.... I purchased a couple for him.
The glasses are very comfortable to wear and the extra padding from the removable gasket really adds to that feature. I like how the gasket seals in your eyes more than normal and it has actually been very helpful with keeping a lot of the mowing debris from getting into my eyes and irritating my contacts even more - mowing is already miserable enough with allergies.
I like how easily you can remove the gasket, but I plan to mainly keep it in place for not only the comfort, but also the extra safety. What got me into these was recently having a piece of debris almost fly into my eyeball while wearing normal safety glasses - not going to risk that again.
I haven't experienced any fogging issues yet, but we are about to approach summer and that is when these will really prove themselves one way or another, hopefully I won't be coming back to remove a star because so far these are great safety glasses.
1. They scratch easily. Which is to be expected from a lower priced item. The lining clips on and leaves little scratch marks. Not so bad you can't wear them.
2. The legs, or stems, break easily too. They should've been twice the thickness! Mine broke and I glued them back. Just have to be a little careful with them.
3. They must fit your face well to prevent collecting too much dust. I work in a high dust environment and they work great but still don't snug my face well enough to block out all the dust. My hat sive is around 7-3/4. A large fitted cap usually fits me great. They are comfortable and MUCH better than the cheapo's that any employer will give you. The lanyard locks work well. All around Great pair of safety glasses... If you take care of them you shouldn't have problems.
An additional benefit I noticed is that the gasket keeps the lenses from touching my eyelashes which I always found annoying but tolerated until I found these glasses. I know some reviewers have mentioned the potential for the gasket to wear out eventually but the material seems to strike a good balance between comfort and longevity. Considering I work 10-12 hours every day of the week for several weeks at a time I would estimate these glasses will last me at least a few months then I'll just purchase another set when I move to another site.
