I've lost 5 pounds this week. Tim talks about Minimum Effective Doses and it really made a lot of sense to me.

I seem to have went backwards with Tim Ferriss.. I started with Tools of Titans, became an avid fan of the podcast, and finally decided to read this book. As with all things Tim Ferriss.. I continually add to my "life tool kit" every time I adventure into anything he is involved in. Last but not least, on to The Four Hour Chef.

Followed it verbatim. Took pictures and measured myself. After 2 weeks I gained 4lbs. I thought it was BS. Then I measured myself. I lost 6 inches. So then I knew it worked. Started at 186 on December 3, 2016 by February 3, 2017 I was 170 and lost 14 inches. Today is May 26, 2017 and I'm 165. I now do the protein first thing in the morning then breakfast of eggs refried beans and spinich. Then I eat whatever I want for dinner. I can't gain weight. Its crazy. I still mostly avoid sugar and dairy. But living in baja I eat tacos 4 days a week with corn tortillas not flower. Never been a drinker so that parts easy. This works if you really do it.

my family need to change a new one , very nice . comfortable,nice . fast shipping, It cuts slices as thick or as thin as I want with no crumbs-a nice clean cut. I am completely satisfied with it and am happy to have a slot in my product block that it just fits in.

Tim Ferris makes many irrational statements in this book, contradicting science just because of 'results' on himself (a sample size of 1).

It has some good ideas, but the majority of the content is worthless. Don't waste you money buying this.

If you want to learn about fitness/nutrition/health, I would particularly recommend The Primal Blueprint by Mark Sisson.

covers a lot of ground. the diet works and is a great jump-off point. makes the maintenance program a breeze. .brazil nuts, almonds, d-3 and butter from grass-fed cows..all you forgot was the peyote chips. the butter is clean and nice though!

Entertaining read coming from author Tim Ferris. The thing I like about Tim and his writing is how he experiments everything he talks about himself so has personal effects with his topics. Provides validity and gives good insight on how to change up your life a little bit for positive results

Is this a author serious ? I got it as a gift and " re-gifted " the garbage man . Why ? It reminds me of a college text book , but without a true subject . The author jumps all over the place and tries to wow the reader with his " acquired " knowledge which is all well and good but 543 pages plus pictures !! To top it off there is a section on sex , more importantly how to give a female an orgasm ( complete with drawings of how to play with a vagina ) . At this point I did more research on the author . First, I'm no Ferriss groupie ( of which there are many ) , I watched some You Tubes and listened to a few podcasts and it all fell into place . Mr Ferriss almost in his 40 s is unmarried and by all accounts struggles to attract female companionship for any amount of time , thus his chapter on " great sex " is based on an interview with a porn star ! . Why did I include this take on the author , it will enlighten you to just how ackward and nerdy this text book is . The author claims to be a human guinea pig but comes off in the book as try hard . It might be the worst book of it's kind , save yourself the grief and save your money .

Book is full of great ideas about how to change your body and mind. Ferris is great with breaking down science without going overboard.
