As a response to a few of the comments:
The recipes that do not require pre-made ingredients leave a lot to be desired: combine coconut juice with strawberries and pineapple in a blender? I could have concocted that wild combo with my own ingenuity! For example, in the soup section, 4 of the 9 soups require pre-made vegan soups. The spinach dip recipe requires dip mix... you can substitute vegan options following the back of a dip packet recipe without needing this book to itemize it for you. I was looking for easy, tasty dinners that could become staples in our home - you just don't get that with this book in my opinion. However, perhaps for someone newly vegan, this is a good starter book helping you combine ingredients that are unfamiliar to you.
