Keep Your Luggage Secure – Even in the Airport
Did you know you can lock your luggage while you’re traveling through the airport? While the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) electronically scans bags, sometimes they also need to physically inspect a piece of luggage.
In these cases, the TSA logo on special locks alerts inspectors that they can unlock the luggage without cutting the lock or damaging the bag. Travel Sentry Approved Locks are designed specifically to keep your belongings secure while still allowing the TSA to open your luggage without destroying the locks during their screenings.
The Solution for Travelers
Featuring easy-to-set, resettable three-dial combinations, Lewis N. Clark locks infuse multiple benefits with sleek, compact style. Their durable construction withstands the wear and tear of travel and they provide a variety of ways to secure your personal items. In addition to the airport, they can be used at the gym, school, water park, hostel, and more.
Give yourself the peace of mind of knowing that thieves cannot easily get into your belongings and that the TSA can open the lock without damaging your belongings if necessary.

I've been using locks or twist ties, when desperate...for years. Since I began to travel wayyy more than I'd ever imagine I would in the 1970s.
There are a LOT of locks out there, and now that we have to submit to ones the TSA (and any bozo with the key they have) can open...well, it gets more complicated. That said, the fixed locks, with the non flexible part to attach the two zips..are truly, a pain. Sometimes they just don't sync neatly together, or you cannot get them to...whatever.
When I found these, I tried 'em on a recent 9 airplane trip throughout SE Asia. And they did it well. Surviving all those planes, including props PLUS easily sliding through the zips to lock..even in hotel rooms with 10 watt lights (well they were dim).
Don't hesitate. I bought a second pair, given there are so many zips on a suitcase nowadays.
Yes there is a warning on it that says there is a chemical known to cause cancer but in all honesty it's not like you are going to be holding this lock in your hand or pocket all the time. Constant exposure to any chemical will cause bad side affects. The only time you touch these locks is when you open or close your luggage on a business trip or vacation. Trust me, you've touched and smelled far worse when you use common house hold cleaners.
Resetting the combination is extremely easy;
1. Open the lock using the default combination and leave it opened.
2. Using a small pointed object, (pens work nicely) push and HOLD the button on the bottom of the lock.
3. While still holding the button, set your combination.
4. Release the button and it should be set.
The only con is the price. These locks are more expensive than the traditional bar locks, almost 2 times the price. However they feel more durable. If you hate carrying keys, have a good memory, and want a lock that will last awhile (assuming TSA doesn't lose them) then this is the lock to get.
Of course they are not that secure, but it is meant as a deterrent, not to replace Fort Knox. I find that plenty adequate for luggage and during a workout at the gym.
