Wow what a great product, this is nothing like the little sprayers that I have used in the past. This is a solid, well built and reliable sprayer. This is a true "mister" not the kind of spray that drips, you can spray all your plants without a mess. I have hardwood floors and it is not a problem, this little baby pumps out a spray that is almost the consistency of steam. You can adjust this for a heavier spray if you like but why. The nozzle tilts up and down 90º to get in and around the leaves.
Once a month I put a cup of water and vinegar in the sprayer (5parts water & 1 part vinegar) pump it up and lock the slide open and empty it in the sink and this keeps it from ever clogging up from scale.
I wish I had found this years ago so I would not have wasted all the time and money on cheap sprayers. I think it is great and the plants sure look better for it.

BOTTOM LINE:
I have recently begun experimenting with indoor gardening and vivariums (planted tanks for animals) and found my standard "water sprayer" insufficient. I purchased this and I must say it is absolutely FANTASTIC. The features make it good for both misting my indoor plants and watering my small patio garden. Just remember to depressurize it when you are done; either loosen the cap or hold the trigger until it stops misting. Loosening the cap is much easier and faster usually :)

PROS:
-Nozzle adjusts 90degrees
-Lock button on trigger so all you have to do is point for larger misting areas
-Anti-corrosive for those of you who use chemicals (I use exclusively distilled water so this feature is moot for me, but a pro nonetheless)
-1L size is just enough to water all my indoor plants
-Pump is easy to push
-Turn the nozzle one way for an ultra fine mist, turn it the other way for a pressurized stream of water.

CONS:
-Markings are difficult to read on container (0.5L, 1L markings)

NEUTRAL:
-Pressure on the "direct stream" mode is a bit strong (water splashes back and dirt shoots up). Not really useful for indoor watering unless it is a very large plant. However, for my small backyard garden, it is perfect.
-Grease on the pump handle is exposed; when the pump is up the grease can wipe onto you. Its not a major issue since the pump handle is always down except for when you are in the actual act of pumping.

instructions say to depress pump 30 times to fully pressurize; I have pumped it much less times and gotten quite a bit of spraying time
Comparable to other hand pump / misting sprayers, but appears to be better made ( will update how it holds up over time- have had other similar bottles that have either completely broken or no longer spray as well )
adjustable angled collar around spray nozzle
nozzle adjusts in 2 ways- can tilt entire nozzle up or down to spray at different angles
can adjust spray from a fine mist to a concentrated stream
1 liter size makes bottle lightweight when full, though in retrospect, I may have been better off with the larger model as I have alot of plants to spray and therefore need to fill it twice-clearly not a real problem
paperwork has a detailed parts list and says bottle has a 6 month warranty

Happy with purchase, will update with any issues in the future

Worked good for a couple times testing it with water only but formed a small hairline crack around part of the top so now it will not hold pressure--junk at this point. I am the type of person who is very careful to NOT overtighten, screw on "crooked", etc. things such as this so that was not the case here, just too thin plastic I'd say. I also have another comparable sprayer, the Chemical Guys ACC_117 - Full Function Power Atomizer & Pump Sprayer (50 oz), holds 50% more liquid capacity, but is somewhat heavier...but not much. After testing both equally and carefully with only water I at first perferred the Solo 418 since its a bit lighter but if it is going to crack like the one I have what good is it, especially if it cracks when you're out in the middle of a job. Sure I can have backups, but if they too crack like this one its not only a waste of time & hassle but will cost more. I've carefully examined both and the Chemical Guys ACC_117 - Full Function Power Atomizer & Pump Sprayer (50 oz) has significantly thicker plastic which is one reason I believe it trumps the Solo 418. Sure, both sprayers can't hold as much liquid as a regular 1 gallon & up pump garden sprayer but I bought these to use with one hand and liked the fact there is no hose & wand to have to screw with, etc. Another thing most people might like better is the fact that the Chemical Guys ACC_117 - Full Function Power Atomizer & Pump Sprayer (50 oz) comes with a full function rotating nozzle whereas the Solo 418 only has 1 adjustable nozzle. Now, the Solo 418 does have a vertically articulating nozzle which is nice whereas the Chemical Guys ACC_117 - Full Function Power Atomizer & Pump Sprayer (50 oz) does not...but in my opinion its not that big of an advantage. I really want to like the Solo 418 pump sprayer but I'm just too afraid that they're all going to crack like mine did.
