I bought this for a 2017 Honda Fit, and it works really well. I attached it to the back row of seats, which allows me to cover my car in two configurations: (1) with the back seats up and the dog in the trunk area, and (2) with the back seats lying flat so the dog has access to the entire cargo area. This allows me to keep the back seats free for passengers without having to detach the cover (unlike the hammock-style covers). It covers the cargo area of the Fit well without too much excess (in either length or width) when the seats are folded down. With the seats up, the length is obviously too long but the excess can be folded under.
In addition to this cover, I am using the
4Knines Automotive Pet Deterrent Barrier
between the front seats to keep the pup in the back when he has access to the entire cargo area.
The only less-than-perfect aspects of the cover are: when the seats are split in the Fit, the cover doesn't stay perfectly flat against the back of the seat that is upright. Some velcro would probably solve this problem. Also, the excess length of the cargo liner meant to protect the car bumper is very slippery, which makes it tough for my puppy to climb up but also makes the cargo liner slip around when it's folded under (the bottom of the cargo liner is textured to prevent slippage, so that aspect of the liner is negated when the bumper cover is folded under).
Otherwise this is a great cargo liner for the 2017 Honda Fit.
