Everything was there that was needed. This is my 2nd rebuild on this type of transmission -and this kit is better than the TCI kit Ipreviously bought. Good high end Borg Warner clutches and the crucial 3 -molded pistons are included as well. These pistons are essential for a good rebuild on the 4l60E trans -one of the biggest known problem areas besides the sunshells. Will buy this kit again if I get another of these transmissions to work on.

Good, but not a complete kit.

Some of the Raybestos friction plates are the early style, without the little holes in them which some of the late models have. However, they still fit. Some may argue this may decrease fuel economy incrementally.
This kit only has 3 bushings with it....one that fits on the rear of the case, one for the pump, and the 3rd im not sure. There are about 10 more bushings for this transmission, so you will need to purchase a seperate bushing kit if you want to replace those. Also, some of the other common high wear parts (such as pump booster valve kit) are not included. Other than that, no complaints.

Everything that you need to rebuild a slipping transmission. Even includes a filter that doesn't fit some models, so double check by looking at your oil pan and looking for the corner divit. Just youtube it if you don't know. Also be sure to brake clean everything that you take out and put in. And soak clutch pads in atf before dropping them in.

Good little rebuild kit. All of the parts are good quality. Not as complete as other kits that I've ordered as it didn't have a bushing kit or check ball kit with it but no big deal as all of these rebuild kits vary on stuff like that. Quality seals and o-rings, BorgWarner high energy frictions, ect... Overall I'm very happy with this kit.

good kit for the price for 4l60e

The kit seem to be complete with the gasket and seals. I was rebuilding 2003 4L65E out of 03 Denali.. In which third gear clutches has 7 frictions and steels this kit only had 5. But learned that the thicknesses are different . So I ended up reusing the steels and picked up an extra friction to make 6. And endplay was around .050 (specs are .060-.080). DrivingtrBut other than that its a good kit.
