the truck doesn't even act like it's pulling anything

I Max out my gvwr with my fifth wheel camper hooked up and since we put this rebuild kit in, the truck doesn't even act like it's pulling anything. The snap between second and third will put you back in your seat when gunning it.

We also used a Corvette servo and Beast Sun gear as well as a shift kit. But these plates and clutches are great. When you want to go...you are going.

WOW. this kit was extreme ! Thanx a bunch !

Used the ALTO kit to build a customers' unit. Quality is top notch !
Trans Star kits are junk in comparison. ONE Example, The valve body gasket holes line up
perfectly with the Alto kit. Trans star gaskets do not.

ALTO needs to set up a retail store in Austin.

After much time of sitting on it, this is probably the best my transmission has ever been. Mine does have a shift kit, a beefed up valve body, and a high stall torque converter, but it handles like a champ. Way better than it was brand new from the factory. If the installer installs it right, I don't think you will ever have to worry about it giving out if you don't strain it every time you drive it. Haven't had it slip even once. My tires bark when it hits second gear due to the upgraded parts.

So far so good! I pulled my 25' camper trailer with a 5.7l and it pulled no problem. Seems like it has more grab i in between shifts, got it to 70 mph fairly quick and truck wants to pull out frm under it. Quality steels and clutches, no issues. Great buy!
If you have issues with the checkball going through the seperator plate... Get a new one, gaskets, and the upgraded tcc valve.

Bad decision on buying this....broken fluid filter as soon as I opened the box ...then bushing for sun gear was slightly to big for the reaction shaft you can tell the difference in quality ... Strong recommendations from friends to not use the 3-4 clutch frictions and steels and red band
