After watching a few nutnfancy videos on Foursevens flashlights, I decided to give them a try. The M2A is a fantastic EDC choice. It is lightweight and has a great pocket clip. The only design issue that needs to be addressed is the fact that the AA batteries rattle inside the light. This in no way affects the functionality, but does get a bit annoying.

Overall it is a very bright and compact light that can be carried everyday without giving it a second thought. I would definitely purchase this again.

This is the smallest light for 2xAA that also has the highest available light output, at the time I bought this item. My requirements were 2xAA, small, extremely high output for size. It hits all the points with 10/10. I chose AA for the wife, because we have tons of them in the house for hurricanes. There is nothing out there at the time of this writing that competes with it, versus my requirements. Time will change that, but it will be tough.

I believe it is discontinued, but I'm sure the replacement from 4Sevens, when it comes out, will be another amazing winner.

I recommend the NutnFancy review on Y-tube, if you want to learn everything about this light. It is way better than anything I can provide.

Tough, small, very high output, 2xAA, great run times.

The only thing I would like better would be a last mode memory, but I like that it starts in low and forces you to work your way up to turbo mode (180 lumens) only because it forces you to only set output you need for the task at hand. That saves on batteries. I bought Energizer Lithium batteries for it, and had m wife drop it in her purse. She has come to appreciate it, even though she was very skeptical at first. It has come in very handy on multiple occasions in the past four months.

The batteries rattle, but I put a thickness of electrical tape around each and that fixed it. The twist-GUI is a little touchy, and will skip modes if you push the head sideways or pull it back at all while twisting. I hear the Preons do not have this problem. Also you have to twist it off enough to make sure it's not going to turn on in your pocket under pressure. Inductor whine is also noticeable, but not obnoxious, on Low and Medium. Finally, the batteries seemed to drain significantly more quickly than my Fenix LD20. Possibly because it was on in my pocket, as described above?

Other than that, I love the size and weight. It's very small and light for a 2AA flashlight. The pocket clip placement is also superb. Overall a decent EDC light.

I've always loved 4Sevens products for my high-end flashlights. They are lightweight, strong, and I really like the way their flashlights work.

I really like that the first mode is low (followed by medium and high), and then it cycles into the strobe and SOS. Other flashlight companies, IMHO, screw up the order by starting first with high. I know, I know, others might like the first setting to be high. A light like this typically is used for very up close work, and the low setting first just works best for me.

Clip is excellent. Beam is typical 4Sevens quality, meaning it's just excellent.

I have one of these as part of my EDC and it has been wonderful so far. The "twist to activate" kinda makes it less useful for a "tactical" application, but as far as general flashlight uses it isnt a big deal. The three brightness levels are easy to cycle between and the brightness is outstanding. The fit and finish are great for this price point as well. The belt clip is sturdy and secure.

I had never really considered carrying a flashlight as part of my regular day to day activities, but I have been suprised by how many times it has come in absolutely handy. From finding kids toys that fell under couches, to cleaning small hard to see nooks and crannies of my AR, this has done it all.

If you are considering purchasing, but are hesitant, dont worry about this being a waste of money, it wont be.

I carry this with me everyday. One of those items you didn't think you need until you use it a few times a day for everything. Light enough to clip into the inside of your pocket and carry around all day, but powerful enough to matter.

Compared to a 3C Maglight, this little light blows it out of the water. Awesome Awesome and well worth the money if you carry it everyday. I have used it to help load things, at night looking at the car, and for security purposes. One of the most important thing you can have for safety is a decent light.

Truly a great flashlight. I have had it about a year. It is the slimmest and lightest 2AA flashlight that I have come across. It carries in a breast pocket very well. Clip it in my pants pocket and I don't feel the weight.

Turn the front of the light for on-off and selecting mode. Models with push buttons are quicker and more convenient (like the quark2aa), but the turn bezel design has never been a serious distraction for me.

Not as bright as some others that I have, but plenty bright for my use.
