From immediate access to your side-arm to hidden ID panels, you’ll find that the 5-in-1 Jacket may be the only outerwear you need. This jacket is cut shorter than our 3-in-1 Parka and has an elasticized waist. The 5-in1 Jacket features our patented Back-up-Belt System for safely and securely stowing critical gear. The waterproof and breathable outer jacket can be worn separately or with the fleece liner. With its removable sleeves; the liner can be worn separately so you have five different ways to stay comfortable in changing weather conditions. Both the outer jacket and fleece inner liner have our patented document chest pockets with our trademark Back-up-Belt System lining. These pockets can be used to stow gear such as handguns, handcuffs, flashlights and mace with our accessory pouches. We’ve lined the zippered hand pockets with fleece to keep your hands warm and dry. The outer liner has concealed ID panels that are easily exposed and we’ve added side zippers to provide easy access to your duty gear. Our high performance, waterproof and breathable outer jacket is resistant to tears and abrasion. Our fleece liner is extremely durable and is water and wind resistant. We use only high quality YKK zippers and Prym snaps on our 5-in-1 Jacket. The removal ID panels can be silk-screened with your name, badge and department so you’ll be clearly identified when you arrive at a crime scene or critical incident. The detachable hood is specifically designed to keep water off of your face and head and is fully adjustable with quality elastic cording and cinch locks. The adjustable Velcro sleeves and side zippers give this jacket tremendous versatility in both fit and use. The sleeves have hook and loop closures to help keep the water out when it is raining or let air in when you need ventilation. With five different configurations you actually get five jackets for the price of one. The front panel measures 5" W x 5 1/2" L. The back panel measures 12 1/2" W x 9" L.

While wearing a t-shirt only, I took a tape measure, held the tape in each hand while I pulled it level around the back of my shoulders with arms fully extended. From wrist to wrist (subtracting the amount of the tape I held in each hand) it measured 72". This is exactly the point where each of the outer shell sleeves touch my wrist when I wear the jacket with the fleece installed. If my arms were one inch longer on each I think it would be too short, but great fit in the Large as is.
With the fleece liner installed the jacket length covers 4" past the top of my hip bones and rests on the top of my butt shelf ..... really does not cover it at all. When I raise both arms all of my belt plus an inch is visible. For concealed carry you would want to carry inside the waistband and only lift one arm at a time (like grabbing items off of the grocery store shelf which always worries me.) - should work well for my carry habits.
One feature I didn't see talked about in other reviews is that the fleece liner has a nylon lining. This makes it really easy to take the jacket on and off with other layers or shirts that with straight fleece cause friction and binding - expertly designed.
This is the nicest jacket I have ever seen let alone actually owned. Worth the high price tag.
UPDATE: I have worn this jacket now for about a month, and it is WARM. I sometimes have to unzip it a bit to regulate my body temp. I have been wearing it in the Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin Region, where the temps haver been running from 20 degrees (warm) to -14. this jacket has performed well.
This jacket has 5 different configurations.
1. Jacket with inner fleece sweater
2. Jacket shell ( with no fleece sweater)
3. Fleece Sweater
4. Fleece sweater with sleeves removed (vest)
5. Fleece sweater with jacket on top ( Each item worn separate)
The material is very strong and well built, the jacket is water resistant and durable. The jacket does not feel heavy nor bulky, it is just right. The jacket is very warm and comfortable, no need to wearing anything under the sweater, fair warning you will sweat.
This is a amazing jacket overall!!
