Precision manufactured with very tight tolerances, *each antenna* is 100% tested on a professional antenna tester (Rhode & Schwartz) to ensure maximum range and performance. Antenna uses a high quality semi-rigid cable, that can be bent to any angle and maintain its shape in any orientation. The custom radome is RF-transparent, and protects the antenna from the occasional crash, or that oops moment when flying. SMA male connector compatible with all FatShark/ImmersionRC 5.8GHz products sold to date. Right-hand circular polarization

So far I've found them well made and reliable. I've seen clear video transmission at about 1500 feet distance 300 feet height (haven't tested much further yet).
It's a huge help when flying FPV. Even before those distances, you can't see the drone. So seeing the video is essential. It's also critical when framing your shot. You can see some examples at TruNorthAerial.com.

Advantage? I can now rotate without losing my signal.
Disadvantage? A little more noise.
So I'll give it a 5 star rating now that I have a basic understanding how circular polarized and linear polarized antennas differ. The most important thing is, I can turn. I'm not going to drop it to a 4 star rating because of extra noise since a helical is recommended for distance.
In most cases, these are a better configuration than the stock dipole "stick" antennas that come with most equipment. Read up a bit on antenna theory to see if these are a good option for your application.

I received one SMA and one RP-SMA, one grey and one black...
