I look forward to receiving the hard copy too!
First of all, the author is a clairvoyant. I really get into that kind of thing. I loved that she also shows the importance of god and prayer. She said to consider her my wake up call. I have to say that she definiately was my wake up call! Also, it's amazing how she talks about living consciously. I really look at my life and I do think I have been living unconsciously. Also, the challenges life brings me. I guess I never thought about it being the spirits asking if I am sure that I want to do what I am doing. "Nothing in our lives occurs by accident or mistake" (P.9) Also, the fact that validation must come from within not from what others think or through recognition. The mind creates anxiety, fear, suspicion, doubt and self-sabotage. We tend to thing about solutions or outcomes but thinking won't change anything. She has several exercises in this book for ways to focus. She also talks about how your life has a plan. You need to find out what you were brought on the earth for and work on where you are supposed to be. Also, not to let your ego run your life. When we are living like we are supposed to, we don't need anyone to tell us that we are ok. That is really a big one for me. I tend to feel like I have to get recognition from others in order to know that I am okay and am living like I am supposed to. When I don't hear from someone or get recognition, I tend to think I did something wrong.
One of the big points in this book that I really thought was so important was about relationships. Sometimes we feel empty, jealous, and undervalued. We wonder if we are good enough or if the other person loves us. We need acknowledgment in order to feel good about the relationship. We look to others for approval and don't feel complete unless you feel loved or acknowledged (P19). We have to not let comments or situations hook us. When we behave negatively, we find that it gives us attention. Even if its negative, we still get seen and it's a way to make people notice.
"Release the critical voice that says you aren't enough, or you are flawed in some way." (P46)
You need to celebrate yourself and stay balanced. Trust your intuition and wear it on your sleeve. There is also another way to gain insight about a situation that she says to do and it's so easy, yet I never thought about it before. Actually, there are a few of them. Of course, you will have to read the book to see what that is! There is just so much more to this book, but I think you need to read it for yourself. This is a short book, but so packed with good information. So obviously, I am highly recommending this book to everyone! I really learned a lot about myself from reading this book and believe that it really is going to make a positive impact on the way I live my life!
Black Diamond's Book Reviews
I read the whole book in one go and I have to say the book promises to do much more than "just" that.I can feel the shift happening as I read every single page.
Christine offers a whole new paradigm of new information that I have yet to come across anywhere else.
What I love are the tools she offers that are so simple but so effective like neutrality & alignment.I loved the portion on "uncovering life lessons"... completely changed my understanding of the challenges & difficult relationships in my life.
Where has she been all this while...cant wait for her next book.
