Interesting read in graphic form

Even while not thinking of a rapper as much of a role model, it is hard not to be impressed when someone raises themselves up in life and business the way that 50 Cent has. I was interested in the story of how he was able to overcome all he had done, and the comic book format made for a quick and interesting read. I recommend this to those who are interested in 50 Cent both as a person, and for the life lessons he can deliver from his interesting life.

Rare perspective on what makes Rappers into good bussinessmen

It is extremely fascinating to me that a Rapper such as 50 Cent could be a template for business success but he truly is.
The fact that street creed can translate so well into boardroom philosophy is engaging.
Robert Greene takes a neutral look at the rappers life without condemning or glorifying .but showing the reality
I love that Smarter comics has taken some of the greatest, practical works of all times and made it more accessible. I have not only read it but passed them onto my 12 year old daughter who has enjoyed them as well. Much abridged version of the books but does get the reader interested in investigating more.

Fifty proves he can do more than just rap

Fifty killed it with this. Perhaps the first comic book I have ever read. Maybe the last one. But it's not really a comic book its an introduction to greatness. Greatness, that sounds funny. An introduction to achievement sounds more like it.

If you have a bias against Fifty, don't read it. But I don't think any person who has made something of their lives could disagree with most of what he says.

worst smartercomics book ever

this book is horrible in graphics and I give it 2 stars for the decent content and great messages about depending on yourself.
I would recommend this book for someone that typically does not read smarter comics books, is a teenager or thug :)
I am a fifty cent fan and smarter comic fan but this put was very poorly put together by the creative director.

Fun quick read

This book is a fun quick read that breaks down robert greene's 48 laws of power and equates them in a realistic way to the life of 50 cent. I definitely recommend this as an introduction to the ideas that robert greene presents on what it takes to be successful and achieve mastery of ones self and over one's own environment. High recommendation.

The "real" book is much much better.

I purchased both versions of this book, the comic and the real one. The comic had some great points, but left too many gaps and unfinished thoughts. I felt that the comic focused too much on the "hustle" and not enough on strategy and smarter choices.

Visually entertaining. content isn't up to par with the novel

After reading the first few pages for free from the sample, I purchased this comic. What I noticed is that the content is very brief in terms of explanation of the laws, 50's background, and more historic examples (Jack Johnson, the boxer, napoleon, etc). I assumed that I Was going to get a nice little summary of the 50th law, almost like a summary found on a review sheet for an exam. What I got was very entertaining, but not very in depth. It was a quick skim that covers the chapters in the 50th law. When I first read it, I actually thought that SmarterComics had missed a few chapters from the 50th law by Robert Greene, but it turns out that the chapter progression is very subtle and you fly through the laws without really reflecting and internalizing the ideas. But what can you really expect from a comic book?

Pros:
Entertaining
Visually appealing
Quick read

Cons:
You won't really learn much versus the actual novel

I would conclude by saying get your hands on the 50th law by robert greene and perhaps buying this if you like the sample.
